Numeral Sales Tax

Numeral has been great and has been a solid upgrade from our last sales tax software. They work seamlessly with Shopify, and Numeral takes full responsibility for our company's sales tax filings. They resolve all issues for us and acknowledge when they make a mistake. They even pay any penalties and interest that may be incurred due to a mistake they make, although that hasn't happened with our company. Nataly, in particular, has been very responsive and helpful.

Avoid this, there are better options out there. Their CS is terrible and they will only file on a monthly frequency which is a complete waste of money when you have annual, quarterly, and monthly filing frequencies for different states.

There are better options out there, have onboarded with Kintsugi and so far much better, also half the price per filing...

I will reiterate that their CS is brutally bad, and so far from helpful.

We file in +20 states and moved from Avalara for cost reasons about 4 months ago. Onboarding was pretty good experience with a couple exceptions. A couple states were missed, so recommend closely double checking setups. When I detected omission, I got routed to another support person who fixed everything.

My support experience and user interface is better than Avalara. Not having an annual contract and paying up front was also a deciding factor.

Great in every way. Somehow the UI manages to capture all the nuanced complexity of state-by-state sales tax rules and still be intuitive and easy to use. The Shopify integration is seamless, and as someone who has worked in SaaS B2B integration I know that is not easy. Support is terrific as well. Everyone we've dealt with from sales to onboarding to support has been terrific. Definitely recommended!

Numeral has been amazing and Lara is one of my go-to techs there! They are taking care of everything that I worry about in terms of sales tax. I feel so much better knowing that they are working for me because I am by no means a tax expert. They let me handle my business and the parts that I love while they take care of the rest :-)

I have had the worst experience with this company, they charged me for registrations, but their virtual mailbox doesn't work, so months later and Texas has still not been registered.

I decided to go with a different provider, but when requesting for them to remove my account information, they just ignore me.

They resolve all issues for us and acknowledge when they make a mistake. They even pay any penalties and interest that may be incurred due to a mistake they made(which is not often, but it is nice that they do this on the rare occasion). Customer service has been great, especially from Taylor. Additionally onboarding was relatively simple. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is due their reporting, which could be better. That said, I informed them of this and they are actively improving their reporting.
