App looks great onsite and the customer support (Ivana) was very helpful and responsive in setting up and testing our quiz. Great customer service/people! The app/tech itself is a little clunky:

1. They use external integrations for all results - it doesn't carry the results emails natively (even the simplest ones that would just send a copy of the results) so for simple alerts to customers and sales teams you need to set up more complicated external app integrations.

2. No way to see customer paths. For more complex sales, it would be helpful to see the exact path each customer took and/or their answer to each question which isn't possible. You can only see the link to their results page which is useful but lacks context, especially for more complex sales where different accessories/upsells could be offered if the sales team was aware of the customer path/answers.

3. Relatively Expensive: for the amount of work that needs to be done to set it up (plus the above limitations) the app is pretty expensive. I honestly didn't do too much research into alternatives so that's on me. Also, I have four brands so rolling this out across four stores would be incredibly expensive if we decide to do it. Right now we are testing to see the ROI.

We look forward to more development on the app that hopefully addresses the technical issues, and perhaps a tiered pricing program for larger companies with multiple stores.

Great app and easy to learn how to use. Great customer service! Any time I have any issues with building the quiz, the team answers quickly through chat and gives clear instructions on how to solve any problems.

I do not suggest this app at all. The customer service is very bad. I made an appointment via zoom, and after 3 days the person in charge told me that she could not help you and she did not know the language in which the questions were written, even though I translated all the questions for her. Then he told me that he did not have time and that he had to go??? They deducted $200 and no one helped, and the company does not have a staff to help. also she same person in meeting and email and chat ? how company like that have one lady to 3 jobs ? and i make 11 questions in Quiz ,she said i suggest reduce to 3-4 questions ?

Outstanding app and even better support! We implemented a make-up foundation finder quiz for our store using Octane AI, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The app is incredibly intuitive, highly customizable, and integrates seamlessly into our Shopify store. Octane is really amazing! The app itself is fantastic, and their support is top-notch . Ariel was especially helpful with the customizations I needed for the quiz—he explained everything clearly and responded promptly to all my questions.

This app saved my online shop and my life. I can set all the FAQs and auto responses my clients kept on asking me. The software is easy to set up and u just let it run your customer service side of the biz. I can now sleep early, travel and hang out with my friends without the hassle of answering tons of messages per day.

App is reasonably priced. I gained so much sales via this app. My clients think theyre talking to a real person 24/7.

App is also REASONABLY PRICED. Love love love this app

UPDATE 7-2021 --- Octane AI is EVERYTHING. From the team, to the new quizzes and Pop-ups I'm dumbfounded how any company is making this work WITHOUT them. Shopify acquire this company and make it part of your in-house offering. Old Review:
After relying on ineffective email marketing for years, I decided to make the move over to messenger marketing. My expectations were completely shattered within the first few weeks. Octane AI has allowed me to amass tens of thousands of followers that I can have impactful and meaningful conversations with that provide both them and myself value. In addition to being able to instantly communicate with your most loyal fans/customers, Octane's integration with Shopify has boosted revenue for one of the best quarters I've ever had. Octane's abandoned cart messages is one of my favorite features! Lastly, Octane's customer service is beyond great. I know that if I ever have a question, I can expect an answer or a tutorial within a few hours. All in all, Octane AI is absolutely THE BEST APP ON THE SHOPIFY APP STORE. PERIOD. I could not recommend it more!

I got on this app when the basic plan was $9 a month. The charges went up to $40+ and then $60+, then in the last two months jumped to $191 per month. I was not informed of any of it. I don't offer quizzes on my store or use most of the features. Developer refused refund request. I've uninstalled due to their underhanded means of taking money from shop owners.

Love the innovation that Octane brings to Shopify and DTC in general. Not only is the suite of features in the app been great, their team is A++++ They are always looking for ways to bring value beyond the app and we are grateful for that.
