This is exactly what we were looking for! After trying too many apps to get a simple "Local Pickup" option at checkout BUT only limit it to customers with specific zip codes around our warehouse - we were frustrated and almost ready to hire a developer to develop something for us. Then out of no where - PARCELIFY. This app allows us to do exactly what we needed. A little regex magic to include all the needed zip codes and we were set to go. When we did run into an issue support was extremely quick to respond. The developer behind this small but powerful app even open sourced it. The guy is the real deal, the app is as well - absolutely top notch! Would give 10 Stars if I could!

Very useful app that has allowed me to implement sur-charges for specific post-codes (UK based), which is real positive.
The one negative I've found while using the app is that you can't implement specific shipping rates based on customer tags, this is a real draw back for me, and may be the reason I end up looking elsewhere. Other shipping apps offer this function, which is the main reason I can't give the app a 5/5 review.

I’ll be honest, we are a little bummed with the 3-star rating but you didn’t say anything untrue or misleading. We don’t currently offer the ability to set rates based on customer tags. That’s a fact.
It is a feature we have considered adding but it hasn’t made it to the top of our priority list. If it was easy to do we certainly would, however Shopify doesn’t send any customer tag information when they send a rate request as part of the Real-Time Carrier API. That means we will have to get that information in other ways, and the effort required to download, save and continuously sync that data back to your shop and make sure it is alway right is significant.
If/when we add customer tags I’ll be sure to reach out to you. Hopefully you’ll give Parcelify another shot at that time.

I usually never leave reviews but Parcelify support is excellent and we feel they really care about their customers. They are always helping with setup, offering improvement suggestions, workarounds if needed.
Outstanding. We needed to specify a Same Day Shipping Zone and the Parcelify app let us do this incredibly easily. Highly recommend if you have custom shipping requirements.

The app is incredible at providing different shipping rates based on a customer's address, and I love it! Moreover, the support team is quick on providing guidance and solutions to occurring problems.

I own and run a small business as a solopreneur, so I do it all. I had been trying to figure out how to fix my shipping rate issues. I deliver to my local clients free, but there are a few zip codes that I can't get to cost-effectively. It really had me at my wits end.
Enter Parcelify. I can't even tell you how much this app has changed and IMPROVED ON they way I operate. I can offer free shipping where it makes sense, laser focus in on specific zip codes or products, it's amazing. And I've only scratched the surface of what it can do.
And finally, Christian is amazing. He provides world class service in a super timely manner, especially for a free app. I would totally pay for this app, but he wants to keep it free for all of us small businesses. We are so fortunate to have people like him on our team!
