All of a sudden it just started blocking the cart. It ended up being the rule and it seems that when a max quantity of 1 is set for a variant it simply blocks the cart even though there is only 1 in the cart. If I add 2 the normal error is displayed, when its 1 it disappears but the cart is still greyed out. This happened suddenly overnight, we made no changes. Lost revenue and complaining ...
