I really do not like the app. I find it slow and clunky, and lacks customizability, but Ken on the support team was very helpful.

I have been using the Opinew review app, and I’m honestly disappointed. On the free plan, each product is limited to only 6 reviews, and I couldn’t find any easy option to increase this number. I expected to be able to display more reviews per product, but there seems to be no setting or configuration to adjust it. I hope they improve this limit, because collecting reviews is crucial for building trust in our products.

Third class service. I had this app integrated on my website for 1 year; after an year they said my free trail is expired, which was never mentioned before as I always had the free version on. On top of that; they removed the reviews I received during the time; and the widget. Tried getting in touch with the support team multiple times; and they dont seem to be able to fix it; nor even identify the issue. ISSUE: You guys removed my reviews. Simple

Worthless. It was a great app at first, but for almost six months now I have been having problems adding Ali reviews. For six months now I have been contacting these people every two weeks or every month and all they say is:
We understand your frustration, we apologize for the inconvenience, our team is working on it. Can your team not solve this in 6 months? Meanwhile, I pay 20 euros every month. For what? Keep your promises and make sure everything works.

Used this app for years, and then it stopped being able to tell when my orders were shipped, so I couldn't accurately send review requests. (which also were not able to automatically send, so I would have had to manually send them) Reached out numerous times over several weeks and was told it was being "looked in to" but there was never any update on their end. Uninstalled and moved to another app.

This app used to be decent... Then this past February I realized none of my reviews were syncing. Nothing worked, got nothing but errors. Reached out to support, went back and forth for weeks waiting for an update, finally they say it's Amazon restricting imports. I believe them, the other apps are dealing with it too. But those apps are $25/month, I WAS PAYING $500 for their top plan!!! And who knows how long my reviews weren't syncing for. Nothing was working except my $500/month payment to them. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Get one of the other apps for $25/month that do the SAME THING MAYBE EVEN MORE.

Can not import reviews anymore. You have to message them and they will import the reviews manually and we have been waiting for 5 months now. The reviews widget is also not working and pulling reviews from 2020 even after the issue was reported to their customer service team. We had to remove the widget. The app is very glitchy.

We’ve been using Opinew for quite a while, and in the past, it worked great. The integration with Shopify was seamless, Amazon product links imported flawlessly, and the overall performance was solid. That’s why we opted for one of the higher-tier plans – spending over €1500 per year.

Unfortunately, things have taken a serious downturn. The app is no longer properly integrated with Shopify, all Amazon product links have vanished, and the import feature either doesn’t work at all or is severely limited. General performance has become sluggish and unreliable.

What’s worse is the support: despite being on the second-highest plan, we receive no helpful answers. Our concerns about poor performance and questions about upcoming improvements are simply ignored.

For the price we’re paying, this is unacceptable. We used to love Opinew, but sadly, we can no longer recommend it – neither for functionality nor for customer service. We’re already exploring alternatives.

Opinew is a great app. I had a great on-boarding call with Paul. He was very informative and was able to tell me straight away which features I should be implementing. This app is a great asset to any Shopify store.
