HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Pinterest denies my merchant account due to incomplete and/or plagiarized information but will not tell me specifically what that means or how to fix it. Getting help is like pulling teeth especially when I have rechecked and check again to make sure all info is complete and I am clueless as to plagiarized accusation. I own a reputable business with stores on the big three sites and never had issues such as this.

Wow... what a terrible experience so far. Pinterest says my shop doesn't meet their guidelines because I don't have shipping policy (which isn't true) ... I've appealed and send the URL 3 times and they keep rejecting with no explanation. I feel like this app was hyped and launched before they figured this all out. Very frustrating!!

My Pinterest account with years of work was suspended right after I installed this app. Have wasted so much time emailing back and forth to resolve the issue, but no luck.

Easy to install; got it up and running; went to catalogue - not approved; check the errors and realise I must change my website and submit an appeal for not having clearly available shipping and returns policy or a dedicated 'About us' page with social medial links.

My mistake; changed my website to satisfy. Two appeals remaining; submitted appeal after making changes.

Log in the next day to find, catalogue not approved again and I'm on my final appeal - I feel like I've actually done something wrong and I'm terrible for attempting to list my catalogue. Subjective I know but... pretty fierce from Pinterest so far...

I find out now, that despite Pintrest already withholding my catalogue, it didn't bother to tell me the first time, despite any changes... my website is too young to be considered and it bumps me straight to a final appeal.

It also doesn't like or still doesn't see my shipping or returns policy despite it being appropriate for my online business and readily available at check-out; about us pages and on the main links of the website.

What's the point? It's pretty obscure to get started. I found it interesting they accept money for adverts straight away... even if they don't want to list your website or catalogue... food for thought.

Terrible app. After using this app, Pinterest suspended my account. I contacted them for help. Their response here was "Hi there,
Unfortunately, we can't provide any more information about your account suspension. This ticket will now be marked as complete. If you have a different issue, let us know.

Very unhelpful and I blame this app. No support. Uninstalling it now.

I installed this app but when it finished installing Pinterest told me a bunch of tags were missing so I wouldn't be verified. No help or support for how I'm meant to add these tags which are meant to be added as a part of the set-up process. There was a link that suggested that to get the tags I needed to instal this Pinterest app... Right, great help. As a new person and business to Pinterest this was a dreadful first experience. I'll probably uninstall.

After adding this app to my shopify store my pinterest account was suspended, waiting for them to fix I hope they do this is stupid

Update they resolved the issue within 24 hours I’m pleased with their response

The main one is your Shopify site has to be 9mths+ in operation. (As I learnt today - 14Feb2023). Without this minimum store age requirement, you will see the automated 'ISSUES' notification and 2 chances of 'appeal' to rectify the 'issues'. ****** BEWARE | CAUTION | BEWARE | CAUTION ********* Only install if your Shopify store is over 9mths in operation at least you'll know that if you take heed of this warning/caution, your Shopify store has one less automated rejection issue to deal with. There's no point with me submitting the last final 2of2 appeal because store less than 30days 'old' and so will be uninstalling. It was less than a day installed from this page and automatically disabled by Pinterest the same day! Note: Currently, (14Feb2023) the minimum store age requirement is NOT MENTIONED here in the app description or blurb and I may have missed it on Pinterest website. Did you too? If I could leave a negative review, I would!
When I first try to link my products listing 8 months ago to Pinterest using an official third party app from Shopify and the help of the Pinterest team, I got my account banned the second after it started working. And the technical support that had been helping me just stopped answering my messages.

It took me 8 months to have them recognise their mistake and reactivate my account, during which I went from nearly half a million views per month to a couple thousands.

As I thought it was all sorted now, I tried installing the app but never got it to work, and reading other reviews, I decided to give up as I don't want to have my account banned again for no reason.

That's really a shame, not to mention that when they reestablished my account it sounded like "oups we made a mistake" but no apologies for the business loss and absolutely no explanations. Which is a bit light considering the prejudice.

So think about it twice before installing the app, if it goes wrong there is no customer support and not only you'll be banned but all existing pins pointing at your domain will be labelled and showcased to others (human and bots) users as spam, you won't even get access to your accounting info if you advertised with Pinterest.
