Printful: Print on Demand

A great way to test new products without having to take a risk on manufacturing and building inventory. We use it mainly for niche posters with low sales volume. The Shopify integration was easy and we even talked to a real person!

The Printful app works seamlessly with shopify and made it so easy to get products up to the store quickly. Then you go back to Printful and set up the products there...instructions are clear and simple on their site and they have really straightforward short tutorials that show you exactly how to do things. I can't believe the amount of work I completed in a short amount of time. They even give you other stores to connect with to reach a wider audience. It's a pretty impressive operation...I'll let you know how their printing is when I get my first order! lol

I love the concept, I would prefer more control over placement, size, and materials used. Overall, the concept is excellent! I can't comment on the quality as I have yet to make a sale from doing the print-on-demand with Printful.

BEWARE - Most of the positive reviews are probably sellers who have never actually ordered samples. Do yourself a favor and order samples first.

I made the mistake of building an entire store and uploading my designs. I spent weeks getting it perfect. Prior to launching I decided to order some samples.

Not only did the samples take WEEKS to arrive, (which would probably piss of my future customers) but they were GARBAGE.

There is no Quality Control at the Printful offices. 60% of my samples were damaged. Yes I repeat... 60%!! Bleeding, breakage, partial prints, not enough ink, parts of images missing, cracking.

Who in their right mind makes a mistake while printing and thinks it is ok to send it out to the customer this way????

If you want high quality garments. Printful is NOT that company. Do yourself a favor and read the negative comments first. Go with another printer!!!

Aside from the incredibly unique and user-friendly interface (Shopify as well as their web page), I truly enjoy the customer service and amount of products and services that are provided with Printful. I spoke with Alex for well over an hour and he not only addressed every question or concern I had but he happily informed me of additional resources and services they provide that were close to if not exactly what I was asking. This company is definitely hard to beat; it has now become the new one-stop-shop for my small business and I look forward to a very successful business relationship with Printful.
