Pushing me to write a review of atleast 30 characters.. lost all points.
The app has a bug in it where it doesn't give any option to import from. We need to take our customer database over to Privy so we can send email blasts.
Thanks for the feedback and sorry about the issues you are experiencing. I forwarded this issue to the support team and they should be in touch.
I have been using this app for over a year with just the basic features and only 1 campaign. Because my overall website has a lot of page views they want to bill me $140 a month.
Thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry you were disappointed by our recent price change. If you're an existing customer and your price was negatively impacted by this change, we'd be happy to work with you! Just shoot us an email at support@privy.com and we'll put you in touch with the right people.
It's now been six weeks since I first contacted Privy support with an issue with their app: the integration with the email platform I use (MailerLite) doesn't work, meaning email addresses are not synced across when someone subscribes via a pop-up. This is pretty basic functionality for a pop-up app, but fixing it doesn't seem to be a priority.
All I can say is: check the new price plan. It´s it just ridiculous how much money they want!!! How can you charge on monthly page views????
Thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry you were disappointed by our recent price change. We believe our new pricing puts us more in line with the needs of the market and the majority of our customers who are getting more features for a better value. If you're an existing customer and your price was negatively impacted by this change, we'd be happy to work with you! Just shoot us an email at support@privy.com and we'll put you in touch with the right people.
I used this app to have initial sign up by customers and it work great. But when I upgraded so I can use it to send newsletters, I was totally lost. Impossible to work with. I am going back to Seguno.
Absolutely nothing about this app is free, and not only that.
They constantly changed there plans on you without telling you.
Everything is an upsell like, oh you want to let customers inclde an "@" symbol in there email? thats and extra $129 a month...
1. On a serious note, they are dishonest and always trying to make a sale, they will gow the shady distance. Like when i signed up it was unlimited collecting emails and send out welcome codes. After 3 months they add a new rule to my $25 month plan saying "only 400 welcome emails allowed to be sent per day" i never agreed to that, only to find out that for 3 months privy stopped sending to the email subscribers the welcome email.
2. i paid for the "unbranded footer" one and removed the footer, one month later privy adds the footer back to all welcome emails without telling me.
Recently Privy isn't working properly. Emails have been bouncing back tremendously and we reported this, and took them more than 3-4 days to fix the issue. Now the newsletter section does not even load. It also shows that our previous templates are GONE. I pay $200 monthly and they did refund the amount, but this is getting annoying especially during these busy times of the year. We will be looking into other service provider and abandon privy with no regret asap. Stay away.
Not good. You ask for help from support and they talk to you like you are a computer genius. NOT EVERYONE IS. A quick 5 minute call probably could have solved all our issues but NO ONE wants to pick up the phone and help the customer
Privy just prompted me to write a review after cornering me into paying more than double the cost of my original plan. I purchased and set up privy over a year ago to install pop ups and manage my email list and a few days ago they just shut all of my pop ups and embedded forms off because it's "no longer included in my plan". Since I paid a coder to integrate privy's platform for me, and I'm not in the position to pay yet another professional to set up yet another marketing app, I'm going to go ahead and pay double for the exact same features because I really have no choice. Functionality is pretty good, but I've got a bad taste in my mouth from being mislead on pricing.
