Imagine getting targetted ads from this company only to have them not let you log in via Shopify. I wish I could use it but this is terrible

They do not stand behind their support. I emailed them for support on an issue I was having and when I followed their supports direction I ended up sending an email to 5-6x the number of customers I wanted to. When I asked to not be billed for their mistake, they refuse to do so. Many people would consider this fraud as they can give you the wrong directions to intentionally increase their billing for your account. They charge by page views and not a flat fee so this leaves all kinds of room for intentional abuse of support. If your money is not important to your business, they are the right choice for you. They will not correct their mistakes and will even bill you for them with a smile and tell you to go ahead and file a claim with your bank if you do not agree. Worse customer service I've ever had.

This app installs on the theme, although Shopify CLEARLY indicates that it's not optimal to do that. Because of apps like these, website load slower.

Why pay money to the developers who don't do the right thing and don't think about their clients?

coupon codes only work one time! Abandoned checkout email has a bug and send the product image only sometimes!

I agree with Cjartcanada everything about this popup software is confusing and difficult to get working, if I can't figure this out in another 60 minutes I will be terminating my account with Privy. How did they get away with this, its awful!

I started using Privy at around the point they changed their pricing scheme, so I was able to view their previous pricing model and the newest model.

I think their core service of popups is pretty good. But I was disappointed to find that 2 completely separate stores I run, that are not related to each other, were merged together for the monthly views. So I am at the point where the Privy app is disabled on both stores unless I pay their fees. So if one store has lots of views, but another doesn't have much at all, both stores Privy popups won't work.

I have already done a live call with one of their staff where they hoped to show me the additional value Privy offers if I were to use their subscription service. But I do not think that minor features like more audience targeting is what I need. And I don't think it's worth paying $20-40+ monthly subscriptions for.

Will be looking for other popup services in the meantime and transitioning away from Privy. I'd come back if they changed their pricing model back to what it was before.

It is not user-friendly. I have no idea how to use it and the help options just make it more frustrating. I have no idea if it is worth it because I have no idea how it works and there are no tutorials in sight
