asked for a review before i even had a chance to try the app
This app has many glitches and if difficult to operate. The email pop up just layers each element on top of one another instead of listing the elements one below the last.
Thanks for your feedback and sorry for any frustration you are experiencing. The elements are layered so that you can create different design effects and control exactly how your pop up looks. You can also reorder the layers by dragging and dropping them so that they look and behave the way you would like. We always recommend the form and submit button being the top two layers so that nothing is blocking that experience. If you need help, give us a shout at support@privy.com
mal !! se cae la pagina todo el tiempo, no me deja enviar ningún tipo de campañas, pago el plan y me dice que no lo he actualizado, hasta el momento mala experiencia
Used to be wonderful. Now they've gotten disgustingly greedy!!!! Went from a free app for simple email pop-ups, with reasonable prices for upgrades, to now a literally useless app for anyone with any remote amount of traffic to their website. Went from free to $70 a month just for a single damn pop-up! Outrageous. Cancelled and moving on to another FREE app for a simple damn email pop up. Reevaluate your decisions. You would have got more money out of me by offering small reasonable add-ons, than gouging all your highest traffic customers forcing them to move to other reasonable and often FREE apps that do the same thing!
Thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry you were disappointed by our recent price change. We believe our new pricing puts us more in line with the needs of the market and the majority of our customers who are getting more features for a better value. If you're an existing customer and your price was negatively impacted by this change, we'd be happy to work with you! Just shoot us an email at support@privy.com and we'll put you in touch with the right people.
Not sure yet - just installed it so let's wait and see after a little while of setting up using etc .
When I launch my campaign live, and an email is imputed, the button click returns an error. Doesn't work for me.
Thanks for the feedback and sorry about the issues you are experiencing. Please send us an email at support@privy.com and the team will give you a hand when they are back online.
Beware: Like all other reviews I got caught in Privy's scam, they initially quote you $45 a month and then months later they start charging you $120 more a month, which they tell you that since I have gotten more emails I am charged because of it, I used it for one pop up and one abandoned cart email campaign, which neither helped to gather more emails. This app left a bad taste in my mouth on how these apps can change their amount of payment without letting you know. $165 a month for an app is not worth it, especially Privy is not worth it. Alas, I do see there is a pattern of this behavior in the reviews.
Hi there,
Our billing team has checked and see that the increase in price came from the 3 imports of contacts made to your account. As your number of mailable contacts increases, so does the price.
You can also see our pricing here: privy.com/pricing.

!!! STAY AWAY !!! It's scam for no-brainers. Stay away!!! They give you some "free" staff, then ok, you agree to pay $30/month. You spend your time to write a letters, to design texts. After one month, they ask you $350/month because of "popup views". Really guys? They told you "write our sales to get a better pricing", they give you $100 off. They attribute orders being "because of Privy activity" but it's not. But anyway $250/month it's too much. I never write negative reviews. But I want you guys to stay away from these scammers.
I havnt used it yet but it wants me to review it so here is my review, i will change review after i figure out how it works
its so annoying how they keep asking for reviews and wish the pop ups were more customizable
