The apps email integrations have leak emails - it keeps sending an email out from months ago, but only to a few people at a time. Customer service was unresponsive when we reached out for help. In addition, the pop-up timers are off and not holding saved changes.

stop asking us to review your app okay - one stars, don't beat us on top of the head about reviewing your app one star! stop asking us to review your app.

zero documentation, zero help, zero instructions, zero useful info, you'll be on your own to figure this app out, the videos they do send out are 3rd grade level garbage, ue / ui is poor they never have navigated their own app to use it, zero user input

Our advice would be to check out the other 1 star and 2 star reviews. We have over paid for this app after cancelling for 12 months. A total of $1680. No recourse at all from this company , just "Its in our Terms & Conditions"

Our billing team has checked and can confirm no overpayment took place. In this case, we see you spoke to our billing team and let us know you forgot to cancel your account a year ago. We made an exception here and refunded the payments since your last login, which was 4 months ago. We are working to apply our refund policy consistently and fairly which is what we did in this instance. I tried again because of all of the great reviews. I sent a newsletter to about 200 contacts. I tested the mail send to myself clicked all the links NO PROBLEM! Then when I send the mail I get a bunch of responses saying the links take them to a broken web site because the email is marked as a spam sender. I messaged Privy and they said they recommend changing the auto sender address which I didn't see anywhere as an option to my personal email instead of theres. I look like an idiot in front of 200 people now. The solution is next time change the sender. TELL ME THAT BEFORE. Why oh why does this service suck so bad :( This app worked well for a few months. When my free trial ended (wasn't aware it was a trial or it would end) I wasn't notified. This app is about notifying people and THEY DIDN'T NOTIFY ME! I had over 1500 visitors to my website in one week and checked to see why I wasn't getting their emails and this poor company didn't send me a pop up email or sms to tell me I need to now pay for the service, which I would have done. Crazy right. There are other services out there don't make the same mistake I did. After telling them this happened they said nothing we can do would you like to pay for the upgrade. Not great customer service.

The customer support behind this business is shity. I submitted a Complaint and someone reached out to me Via email one time and never responded to me again. I even explained early on how I wanted to cancel my subscription and downgrade back to the free account because the paid account is not worth the extra money. A few weeks later (still no reply from the original agent who reached out or anyone else from privy) they still charged my card. DO NOT pay for a subscription it is a complete waist of money.

I used this app for almost two years, so I definitely gave it my best shot. Unfortunately this app gave me nothing but a headache for the past two years. The customer service wasn’t helpful at all, now when I have finally unsubscribed from this app, now customer service wants to talk to me.... absolutely ridiculous. Side note: the customization is terrible and the abandoned carts don’t work. Tried getting help with that for a year. Save your money and a headache. Wish I did.

Very annoying how the color and size of letters overwrite want you want to put. Would give it less of one star if I could. What looks like would take 5 mins becomes a 30-45 min process. Needs a lot of updates.

I've been using Privy for almost a year and I am so frustrated by the app and their customer service. When I went to cancel I lost access to my account immediately even though I paid for the month. They said this information is clearly stated in their help articles when really it should be stated when you go to cancel your account And the right thing to do would be to prorate a refund depending on when the customer cancels...
In terms of the capability of the app its 100% not worth the price. There are so many bugs and the capabilities are lacking. For $200/month I'd rather pay for Klaviyo to have access to better features and better customer service. Honestly, I would never use Privy again nor would I recommend other businesses use it.

Pop ups are good.
Emailing tool often does not work, and it is difficult to get support from Privy. In particular, the tool is not importing csv emailing lists.

This app helped last year however with removing the free forever plan really just serves to punish customers which supported them grow.
