I like the pop ups and how I'm able to design them. However their customer service is frustrating. I used to have a 'chat' feature available and it disappeared. And it's been hours with no response via email on an urgent issue. I do not recommend because of lack of support, and I will be looking elsewhere for my newsletter management.

Customers are refusing to sign up due to the excessive authentication process. At first they are in two minds whether to sign-up and then the "sign" authentication will stop them, then AGAIN it asks for a second authentication. After 130 views not one person signed up.

They never answer your requests. Very bad customer support. Plus they charged money for nothing. Avoid.

We have not been able to get in contact with support for over 4 weeks. We have sent over 8 emails. They have reached out themselves to possibly take over our email marketing and not just the current pop up plan. But there has been no response. It is highly disappointing to pay so much and not receive any support!

Update (9/15/19): The email portion of the app has proved to be the most useless part of the app. Creating a newsletter is a serious chore compared to other programs. The information you gain from the newsletter is worthless. It doesn't tell you who clicked on which link, who unsubscribed, etc. It has not been effective in anyway. I guess I'm stuck until MailChimp is once again part of Shopify.

Update: I've had the app installed for a month now. The pop up works great gathering emails. Actually surprised at how many people sign up. The email feature is nice. I've sent out a few newsletters with varying results.

I can't justify paying $20 a month for the app yet. I'm told that I've reached the max impressions of 5000 per month on the free plan yet my site says I'm only at 1500 for the month (could be the way impressions are counted). The email reports leave a lot to be desired. Other apps give great detail about who opened, how many times, what was clicked on etc. Would certainly pay for that. My avg open rate according to the report dropped from 20% with another app to 2%. Not sure why.

BEWARE! They stole my money for over 12 months.
I cancelled our account via my Privy account but because the app was still installed on Shopify they continued to take money out of our account and will not refund even though they can see we cancelled. USE KLAYVIO INSTEAD!!!

Canceled Privy 6 months ago. But it continues to withdraw money from the bank, also it’s double amount, 60USD! The support tell different stories everyday. The app already debited money from the bank account 12 times. Promised refund, but it’s not! Close that scammers immediately!

They Don't really help you set up things. they give you a crash course for 30 min and after that you are on your own. they don't have a direct customer service number where they can help you set up campaigns step by step. They could add that and it would be very worth it.
