UPDATE - my experience is a rollercoaster. My store sync will be fine for a month or 2 then I will have a product launch and lose sales due to syncing issues as the app is taking too long to show products on collection pages.
Very frustrating - no fix in sight so far. The below worked for a time and then the issues continued again.
Good app and great experience with Billie who helped me with increasing my sync speed, it's super fast now and gives a much better experience to my customers.
Overall good lot of features especially if you need filtering and have a theme that doesn't have everything you need.
apps bit buggy between former version and the newest the turbo version, the latest turbo version is launched while it is not ready, third party integration gone, and also the visual editor is bad compared the previous. Support is slow for this expensive subscription should offer 24 hours chat support
Pricing does not match what you see on Shopify. Also their website does not show pricing at all you cannot estimate the price before you are up and running.
we ended up paying 149usd a month, and thats not even the PLUS plan, only essential

Based on our review, your Shopify store is currently using our Essential regular plan, which is priced at $149 per month for 7,500 products. The Essential plan includes all the features of the Basic plan, as well as advanced functionalities such as AI-Powered Product Search, AI-Powered Recommendation, Collection Merchandising, and 90-day Analytics.
It's important to note that our app does not automatically charge customers. The subscription can only be made by customers on their subscription page, where transparent and specific pricing for each package of your store, along with detailed descriptions, are available for your review and approval.

We would not recommend this app.
For us, using Boost is a necessary evil. We benefit from the filter and recommendations features, but they cause poor performance on our collections. The Boost support team is fast at responding to issues, but unfortunately for us, most of the time it results in us not being able to accomplish what we set out to do.
Also, it takes a long time for Boost to update, so when you create a new collection and add products to it, it can take a really long time for products to actually show up. This creates an awkward user experience on your Shopify store when someone hits an empty collection that isn't really empty, it is just Boost needing time to sync.
It has been next to impossible for us to customize the Boost PFS code to our needs, so we've drained a ton of time building work arounds and trying to hack things together.
If you're thinking about developing your own version of Boost, then you might be better off doing that than paying for this tool.
Too expensive for the overall value it provides.
