This app is amazing. If you don't believe me check out this product on my site: http://www.shoptadpole.com/products/monte-design-joya-rocker It has 608 variants that Product Options handles with ease. It has 3 pulldowns, and within each pulldown there are price variations. It handles the calculations perfectly while letting the customer know in real time what the additional costs are going to be. We have 7 or 8 such complex products on our site, including this one with more than 2,700 variants http://www.shoptadpole.com/products/monte-design-luca-glider and Product Options has dealt with them all.
One thing to keep in mind: Product Options doesn't create the same kind of variant IDs as ones created natively in Shopify, so if you use any apps that call on variant IDs (like Gift Reggie, for example) they don't know how to handle the different selections and will only recognize the default variant. The developer at Gift Reggie is working on a solution, and I'm sure there are solutions for other such apps, but just be aware that you will probably need to involve a good developer to handle those situations.
Still, I can't say enough about this app. Don't let Shopify's 100 variant limit scare you, you can pretty much do whatever you want with Product Options.
Bold apps has changed the face of our business completely. Before they came along we had such hacked up ways of creating customized options and form generation. Thankfully Bold Apps saved the day. Would recommend them time and again!
I've been using Bold apps for about a year now. Specifically, I love Bold options the most. We have an EXTENSIVE array of options and conditional logic that needs to be applied to each product. No other app even comes close.

He could immediately identify the cause of issue so it was very smooth interaction and the issue was resolved quickly.

Our products are complicated, this makes it easy to collect the information we need from our customers.
Most of the reviews (I read one) I assume are about how great the product is. While that's true, I think I'm gonna focus this review more on the superb customer service I received.
Finding a tech company that focuses on it's individual customers and not just their bottom line is a seemingly rare commodity. Everyone I talked with was happy to help and had a great working knowledge of the product. I had a coding issue that had to be fixed and they got it done within a day (that's right, custom code for a unique problem that was solved within a day - someone deserves a raise).
I have a more in depth theme (seiko) which caused some errors in the initial set up of product options. Everyone I have talked with replied within the day (most of the time hour) and was happy to help and get my issue sorted. There was no buck passing and no one said any of the tasks were too complicated or would take a while. They all listened and helped.
Before I go. I worked with David and Tamer and they were both top notch. I'd give them both a raise probably. Maybe even I'd get them some cool Christmas bonus. like SCUBA lessons! oh hey! I know a place you can do that - store.ecdivers.com (#shameless plug)
