A very inconsiderate company with a staff that is more interested in closing tickets then getting the job done correctly.
Oh and don't try and reach them an hour before they close, especially on Fridays. In three weeks they have not returned an email or returned a call after 4pm. they say they close at 5pm.
Shopify should screen their builders more throughly
We are very disappointed with support. They cannot solve the problems with missed options and order printer. Right now all options are mixed up when we have two items purchased. Stay away! This costs us hundreds of dollars a week. We have been promised for months that the problem will be solve but it has not.
Shopify has said that this order printer issue is a Bold Commerce problem and they cannot and will not help.
Very bad app. Full of bugs, complicated to operate, not working properly.
If you want to add one simple field to several products, it will do the job. But if you need a little more sophisticated options than that, the mess starts.
Highly not recommended
I have installed and uninstalled this app many times, I waited a week for a call with a customer service representative and the call dropped. It is still running on the 1.0 version and will not update. I am being charged each uninstall and re-install. If the app were to update to the newest version, I may be able to use it properly.
Please read my review before installing this application as this app has a critical bug that they can't fix. As a shop owner, you need to know this information.
I loved this application. I've tried other apps and this is by far the best product option app, only if it worked.
The critical issue that they have not able to fix for past 6 months is that once in awhile, their added options do not reflect on the total price.
That means, a customer think they've paid for the added options, and it even show up in the receipt as if they've correctly added the options, yet it does not reflect on the total price.
This maybe happens once in a hundred sales, but we made so many angry customers. When they receive the package, the option items are not included because they didn't pay for them, and it won't show up in admin, yet it shows up in their receipt!!
There were many cases that we had to send those options for free to cease the upset customers. Some customers understood that it's a technical glitch yet, it does not leave any good impression on us.
Bold customer support has been helpful, yet they just can't figure out why this is happening, or by the nature of this app, this deadly critical bug can not be fixed for good.
I am writing this review so that other shop owners are warned before installing this.
As I said, I would love to use this app again, if they can ever find out the way to fix this.
I do feel that I deserve an apology from Bold CEO as I waited this app to be fixed for 6 months. I have had enough damage for using this app.

I've lost hundreds of dollars over the last couple weeks because the price of add-ons wasn't included in the shopping cart... customers basically got free products. I wouldn't recommend getting this if you want consistency.
The customer service was also lackluster. Not super helpful and sometimes condescending.
We have used it for several years now, it works well. But all my Options set is waiting to be re-synced for 2 weeks, and it doesn't show on my product page.No customer service, no one to help me, I e-mailed and use the live chat, and no real people respond to me, and I am so frustrated.
It doesnt work how its supposed to and they have charged me for the service during my trial! I have requested 5 times to tech support that this be fixed and yet they do Nothing! 2 Months I have been waiting for them to fix this and all they do is message you back to say its fixed when you only have to look at my site to see it isnt fixed! They have cost me thousands of £ in lost business! The tech team could not care less! What a joke!!!!!

We have been using the app for a few months with our products having engraving options and we looked today and all of our engraving options were gone. The main point for the 1 star review is that you have to select all your products one by one for the options. you cant select entire groups of products which takes way too much time. If they fix it so you can select entire groups of products I will change my review to 5 stars. for now the app is useless.

I saw that one of our product experts attempted to give you a call to discuss this better on Friday, however wasn't able to reach you. I was informed that by creating a collection of products that will have the engraving option on it, you can easily assign your options to that entire collection rather than selecting all products individually.

The idea of this app is great however it causes major issues at random times. The app support simply don't respond when it gets too hard. Save your money
