We have a summer camp and there are companies out there that handle registration platforms for a monthly fee. We are using this app as our registration form now and it's fully customizable for our needs. You'll get sent emails with all the campers info and it's all really easy to sort through and manage.
Only wish the app was $10 for the premium version as I don't really think there is a need for the cheaper one.
app is awesome as we needed the ability to do several hundred options in one box. this is one of only a couple that you can do that. coding in was a little tricky for our web person but out side of that, money.
A good app, but could use a little more polish. Luckily, customer service is generally very helpful.
I used this app to set up options on my online store. I love it but i want to be able to have one selection box for three choices and at the moment the app doesnt allow it. My Guru was Cody whom was very he;pful.
Product options is a complicated app. On one hand, it adds a much needed feature to Shopify, and does it in a way that works well. I get the sense that a lot of the frustrations with the app are tied to the fact that Shopify doesn't make it easy to fully integrate into their existing product. If you want to do anything more than just simple options, be prepared to get some help from BOLD. The upside is, Bold is wonderful to work with (Shout out to Alan), really attentive, and helps wherever they can with really quick turnaround times.
It's not perfect, but it's the best option on the app store today.
Although they didn’t offer everything I wanted Bold product options definitely deserves a great review for performing where it matters – tech support! I had issues with the self-install on a premium theme and found the pro-install service spot on. Making full use of product options premium features I did come across a couple of bugs but both got resolved. No.1 shortcoming for me is the fact that if you have options on a product that effect base price, you don’t get a ‘from’ price on the product thumbnails within collections pages (it just shows base price e.g. '$50' rather than 'From $50') – not the best customer experience if those options can dramatically affect the final purchase price. Sort that out and you'll get a 5th star :)
A great app for creating customized options for the products and the customer service is great. The integration was initially quite tough but has become supremely easy thanks to an upgrade. Works well for my store and looks clean and neat. Options to change the look and feel are few though, which we think BOLD could work on :) Cheers guys
Thank you to Jeff and his team for solving an occasional issue we were having. Occasionally priced option variants wouldn't be in the cart when the customer checked out.
The support team fixed this not only for our live store, but also for out development mode testing store. Thank again!
Now if only they could add some quality of life features and proper integration with a few of the apps BOLD still owns.
Thank you for leaving us this review and feedback. It's great to hear such kind comments about our customer support team, it means a lot to us. Also, we are working hard to continue doing improvements to our app functionality 🎉
Have a lovely day,

Good but not quite there. My goal is to create a product page with a tight set of menu options that can be expanded when chosen. Conditional logic works great for this but I would like more controls. For instance, the product description takes up a great deal of page space. I would like to see a description narrative that could be read and then collapsed. I have seen this on other sites where there is a "pull-down" widget that allows you to group text and options for selection when expanded and then collapse when done. See example at https://shop.nationalgeographic.com/product/clothing/men-s-clothing/15-pocket-travel-vest for example.
The options are excellent but it can be improved by allowing grouping features such as accordions to better organize the options. This improves usability and avoids cluttering the page especially when the number of options are large
