Be warned: there is no way to see which products are connected to which customizer templates.

After building multiple templates and using this app for a long time (in our case, nearly two years), we now have hundreds of products and no visibility into which template is applied where. That makes editing, troubleshooting, and maintaining your store an absolute nightmare.

If something breaks or needs updating, you’re stuck guessing which products are affected. There’s no dashboard view, no mapping, no association list — nothing. For an app whose entire purpose is to connect product pages to customizer templates, this is a massive design flaw.

Support confirmed this is not possible and called it a “feature request.” That’s honestly unbelievable. Knowing what your own system is attached to is not a “feature request” — it’s a basic core function.

On top of that, we ran into errors editing old templates because they changed how HTML is handled, which broke previously working setups. Fixing simple text formatting required workarounds and support intervention.

This app can work, but the lack of template-to-product visibility creates long-term management chaos. Until they add a way to see and manage which products are tied to each template, store owners should be very cautious about relying on this long-term.

This app is terrible. I got completely frustrated trying to set it up. Every step has issues, with no proper guidance—total waste of time. Worst experience ever.

When I raised a support ticket asking for help, they kept asking for extra payment every time. It’s been almost a month, and I still haven’t received proper support. Worst support from an executive named Atik.

we have unintalled this app but they still are charging us for monthly subscriptions.

The new interface makes no sense. It’s completely impossible to navigate, and you can’t find the tools that were easily accessible in the old setup. The old one was easier and better.

The support team is really bad at solving the problem. They just roam around the bus without a definate answer and at the end just blame everything on the customer. Because of a bug in their software which they took over 6 hours to figure out we lost over 70% of our revenue. I bet any other app developer would have responded us in time and resolved it as soon as possible considering we have been their loyal customer for more than 2 years.

Not recommended.

We are deeply sorry for the unfortunate issue that occurred in your store. The cause turned out to be quite complex and rare — something our team had not encountered before. Because of this, our support team first tried solutions related to metafields, which are the most common reason for such issues, but unfortunately, those did not resolve it.

Our team worked continuously until the root cause was identified and the issue was fixed, though we regret it took longer than expected. Please rest assured that we have already implemented safeguards so that this does not happen again for you or any other merchant.

Absolute waste of time. Worked with countless unhelpful employees over days and countless hours. Store was NEVER able to run adequately despite doing everything I was told (Zepto). Was argued with, patronized, lied to (have proof), and all questions (like- can I talk to your supervisor, can I get contact info to file a formal complaint)- diverted and not answered directly. Also asked if someone was able to call and walk me through it- NOPE!! Never able to have the sight work the way it needed to and wasted 3 days in which I could've been promoting and trying to sell through the site. I understand that tech is unreliable WHICH IS WHY SUPPORT needs to do MUCH BETTER!! I have simple needs- not asking for complicated things at all BUT am not tech savvy (was actually told by Shopify that Zepto is what I need and easy). Spent 3 days to try and accomplish something that would've likely taken someone 5 minutes to sort out that works for Zepto. Solution was for me to purchase another Shopify app (more money) to do so. In what world do people actually shell out dollar after dollar for inadequate products (that do not do what they claim)? Why would I give either of these companies more money- they have yet to prove thier worth and a business plan that leaves thier consumers high and dry via customer service/IT support. No help just employees sending me the SAME info repeatedly. (I have saved all the communication transcripts and intend to reach out to others as well (BBB for example). I followed all their directions and bottom line . . . I would not waste your time. I am canceling trial for both Shopify and Zepto and will tell anyone that will listen that these services are terrible. If I ever do find out how to directly and formally complain, I will also be including all of the transcripts and communication that occurred proving all that I have detailed here. Thanks.

I’ve been dealing with issues for over two months now. Their image upload feature works inconsistently, causing lost sales. Customer service responses are generic and don’t actually address the problem. I’m very disappointed—not just with the product, but even more so with the support.

Don't recommend Please Don't Use this APK. Poor Support Structure. sometime it's not working and due to this I faced lots of loss. sometime issue in preview, sometime it's take 2,3 minutes for add to cart and you have to wait for they mail. I tried to ask immediate support they don't have any immediate solution option. If you go big for future you may face big loss so I don't recommended this APK.

Dear Shopify Support,

I was referred by a friend to explore Shopify & Zepto personalizer for customized function website, but I want to bring to your attention a very serious issue they’ve been facing.

My friend has integrated the Zepto Personalizer app into their Shopify store. Unfortunately, for the past 10 days, the app has not been functioning correctly, and no resolution has been provided by the Zepto support team. Even more concerning, the team informed them that their technical staff won't be available for another 2–3 days, further delaying any possible fix.

Due to this, my friend’s store operations have been severely impacted, resulting in millions in potential revenue loss. This level of negligence and lack of support is unacceptable, especially for a paid third-party app listed on the Shopify App Store.

I strongly urge Shopify to review and verify such third-party developers more carefully before listing them. Platforms like Shopify should not allow apps with poor service standards to operate at the cost of merchant livelihoods.

Please investigate this issue and take strict actions or provide alternative support to businesses suffering due to Zepto Personalizer’s failure.
