The customer service team and team of specialists supporting us while running the app absolutely deserve a 5-star rating.

The app itself is really good but has a few areas, which we hope will still be improved. For example: 1) it is possible to sign-up for membership twice with the same email-address 2) it is not possible to specify exactly at what time member exclusive products will go live in the shop. 3) the app does not allow for the use of vouchers for members.

The bold subscriptions app is super useful. Also, their support team is quite responsive and always are there to help if needed

It just doesn't work. It never creates subscription box order and I can't manually see shipping address that used entered to manually ship the order!

The experience is not the smoothest (1), it's still limited functionality:

It's possible to only have text field and text area as additional info fields. It shouldn't be that hard to make all the other input fields types available, too.
Some email templates are not possible to save templates for (member invite template). I ended up doing a lot of extra work that I think the app itself should offer, not that a developer should develop to enhance the app functionality.
The documentation is confusing and limited.

(1) - The widget/form is loaded via AJAX; First some basic form is visible and then the translation and everything else happens in an AJAX callback

Chintan Trikha helped me out a lot when it came to bold membership tagging. He was very patient and helped me figure out exactly what i needed to know! Very helpful

Great app! The support team was very helpful installing the code, and they even corrected the front end view where some CSS wasn't right! Highly recommended!

It works, but only on the most basic levels. So many things you can't change. Customization is basically non existent. If you want a little bit of modification off the extremely basic package, then you should use some other app. Here is just one example. We would like to have the name of our new customer in our confirmation email sent to us- the merchant, when someone signs up for a membership. The confirmation email reads- "Good news, someone subscribed. Feeling the love, a new member just signed up." Instead of being cute, we would prefer the email provide information. But that is just a small thing. Dates, discounts, other changes are non existent. So if super basic works for you, then this app is probably ok, but if you want it to really work for your business, try something else.

Nothing more to say than AWESOME. The app is great and the support is very fast and cool (Cody was really cool and helpful. He even speaks French ahah).

I was in an extreme hurry to get the BOLD membership App running on my Shopify store, therefore I contacted the support team 3 times in 24h and they all were extremely kind and made it possible to launch my webpage with the membership I wanted in time!
