App wont complete the account set-up process upon installation - just gets stuck on the Referral Candy website.

Hi again, we’ve been trying to reach you. We’ve figured out what happened and the fix is fairly simple to implement (instructions also sent via email). Just let us know as soon as you are ready and we’ll help get everything setup.
Derek was awesome in helping explain the app. We will most likely install but as we grow there are some limitations that will make it obsolete and cumbersome for us.
Terrible deal for store owners. On top of the $50/month, they take 5% commission on the next THREE orders for each referred customer (it's in the fine print). Say your average order value is $100. You'll pay them $15 for each referral. Why would I do this when there are plenty of apps that charge a flat rate of $50/month. Or when I can pay FB ads $5 to acquire a new customer? You'll also have to factor in the cost of referral discounts (assuming 10% coupons for referred and referrer, $100 AOV, that's another $20 in cost. Your app looks well thought out, but please reconsider your revenue model.

Another developer posting lies and false information to get people to install their app.
How this started, I emailed them inquiring about how they help stores with making sales, as in the app description they mention they brought a suppliment company from $0 in sales to $10,000 in sales, in one month.

THIS IS A LIE!
They explained that for their app to work, your store needs to be making sales every day, then Referral Candy works off those customers.
Now this seemed weird considering they claim to have taken a store from $0 in sales to $10,000 just after installing their app.
A BLANTENT LIE!!
They even confirmed this with me by ceasing communication when asked about it how they did it if the store had no sales.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I am terribly sorry for this misunderstanding. I assure you there is no intention to be misleading or untruthful about how strongly we believe our product can help retailers be successful.
The line you quoted in the app description was from a case study we did a while back. In it, the client said that "For virtually no labor, I get so many sales – at least $10k this month.” I do see how it can be read differently.

The Ignite app is a fundamental part of our referral strategy for 2011. The Anafore team has been incredibly response to our needs and I'm fascinated and excited by what we've achieved so far using this simple to deploy system. The app was easy to set up and we were up and running in no time. We were impressed at how quickly word-of-mouth spread as soon as we started with the service, bringing us thousands in new sales so far. Would definitely recommend this.

This app is quick to use. I think it has a lot of potential if there's a dedicated resource in your company to monitor the progress/performance of this app.

Very easy to install! I had been wanting to add this feature for a loooooong time! I am about 3 weeks in and I am not seeing any big increase in sales or the promo code I setup being used by customers yet, but I am going to keep it installed on my store. We get a little under 1,000 unique visits per day so perhaps once our traffic volumes are a little higher we will see some results. These sort of things are sometimes a numbers game in my opinion and niche apparel has a lower conversion overall from every angle, even organic traffic. For the minimal cost and ease it couldnt hurt to keep it installed and see what happens.
