Report Pundit: Custom Reports

I used this app to report on a few simple sales figures to help with goal setting in my business and set up a customer data bank of transactions. The support offered is amazing : )

I worked hours (days) to find a report on Shopify that would combine payout data with order data, each transaction would have totals on one row. I wanted order date, fulfillment date, payout date for each order. I tried vlookups to combine data , but with 1000's of entries my reports took many hours to build. And easily prone to error.
Shopify customer service understood what I needed and suggested I try Report Pundit or another app. Being very familiar with Shopify's reports, Report Pundit took less than an hour to understand. I selected one of their reports and customized it. I was able to build the report I needed but was missing 2 columns and my totals were combining refund and sales (same order #). I used the chat option and Amal was able to add columns on his end.
I have now totals by order number and refund # (order #+R), Total Sales Report with the Payout Report, with fulfillment date. I can easily trace total sales by order to payout amount. We are on the accrual basis and having this report makes recording sales based on fulfillment date so easy!

I had been analysing source data from various Payment channels trying to match the amounts entering our Accounting Software Sales Account, literally over the entire last week without success. Turned to Report Pundit and Amal provided a Report combining the Sales, Payment & transfer dates per Sales Order data. Our remote conversations lasted 15 minutes in total, after which he provided THE report. Turned my day around completely! Being able to provide the Transfer date, which is not available in Shopify reports, was the key to solving the reconciliation. Strongly recommend Report Pundit to save you time on customized reports

Was looking for a reporting app that would automate most of the reports required by our management and this one seems to fit the bill. The feature to do scheduled exports to Google Drive is a lifesaver. Support was really good as well.

Report Pundit is the only application I've found that gives financial and accounting reporting data needed to report e-commerce activity. Was able to combine multiple Shopify stores into one application. Now can one report for all stores instead of seven individual reports. HUGE TIME SAVER! Highly recommend. One recommendation would be the ability to integrate with ERP/accounting systems since Report Pundit establishes a single source of data for multiple Shopify stores. Customer support is responsive and helpful.

After trying out quite a few reporting plugins for my Shopify store, I was pointed toward Report Pundit. With some hesitation (after the others not doing what I needed), I setup my reporting. Everything about this app has been the perfect fit for my needs. We have been able to utilize the prebuilt reports, build simple custom reports to fit out specific needs, etc. On top of all of that, anytime I've needed help understanding a report or troubleshooting, the customer service has far exceeding my expectations! Highly recommend this app and its developers!

Report Pundit just NAILED IT!

I have been searching for a way to link PayPal and Afterpay transactions to Shopify. The only way to do it is to identify the Authorization Code or the Merchant Code in the payment gateway, and that data cannot be exported in Shopify reports.

But... Report Pundit gave me the ability to capture both of those fields in a report. Now I can tie Shopify transaction numbers and Order Names to specific PayPal and Afterpay transactions to track payouts and AR from those tools.

I considered trying to build a tool that does this myself, but Report Pundit provided the path for a very fair price. Now I can cancel that other $200/month app that was screwing up my QuickBooks Online and use Report Pundit as my ONLY Shopify data source.
