Let your customers request quotes through your cart.
From the normal Shopify cart, customers can request a quote. This will email you all the items requested. It will also create a editable quote in the app admin. From there you can send them back a quote response with pricing discounts and they can accept & checkout. If they aren't ready to checkout they can also comment on the quote which will send you an email.

Great support. They were very responsive and quickly resolved my issue.
Should be 10 stars but there are only 5. WOW this is the app and this is the team to work with. Friendly, helpful, outstanding is how I would describe the team.
I had some minor issues that needed looking into and the support team were all over it in very quick time. Very helpful setup for Australia where pdf docs are required for quotes for insurance and government. Clients can create a quote on the site in a few mins - giving you more time in the day to focus on the business.
