This app has been available for a really long time and to know Shopify hasn't addressed the issued/major complaints with this app is frustrating. This app is basically useless unless used under perfect circumstances.

I tried multiple times but could not able to see price in the label preview. not sure how to inlcude the price in the label.

Really not user friendly at all. Takes so long to create barcodes for each product and is very time consuming. I used to use shopkeep which created the barcodes automatically and didn't add any time to my day. You really need to work on this feature.

I had used this app with much success. Now it only prints at 100% instead of 90% as recommended by Dymo. The bars are now to blurry for the socket mobile scanner to identify. I uninstalled it to see if I could reset it, but now it won't reinstall. Please return to previous settings

Hi there, thank you for providing us with feedback on Retail Barcode Labels! If the labels are printing blurry, you'll want to make sure your printer settings are set to "Printer Features" and you've selected 300x600 DPI for the output quality. The last barcode app is 100x better. All my product titles fit into the small 1X2 label. Now everything gets cut off and it's not aligned. I had to buy the bigger labels so the titles can fit, but it does not align. FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!

We cannot adjust the size right for our labels.... The previous app was way cleaner and easier to set...
We are using the 30336 sized label and there is always part of the description and title that gets cropped... you guys need to make it adjustable so that if w have a longer title, it doesn't get cut after 12 characters...

Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. This is due to a current limitation on how many characters can fit on the label based on the label size:

> Small (1" x 1"), maximum of 6-8 digits
> Medium (1" x 2 1/8"), maximum of 22 digits
> Large (1 1/8" x 2 1/8"), maximum of 40 digits
> Butterfly/Barbell (3/8" x 3/4"), maximum of 8 digits (not available in the United Kingdom)

99% of the barcodes printed with the app can't be recognized by the barcode scanner. No wonder it's a 1 star app....

For the quality of the label not being able to be scanned, you are able to increase the quality in your printer settings. We recommend increase the quality to 300 x 600 DPI and there is a help guide on how to achieve that here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-person/hardware/barcode-printer/retail-barcode-labels#recommended-print-settings-for-barcode-labels

Other reviewers are right. This app was a complete waste of time...after 3 lengthy phone calls with support still couldn't get it to work. Text gets cut off on labels. Support suggested I download 2 other browsers to try (didn't help )and then suggested trying to export the info via csv file directly to dymo softeware (those steps also didn't work and also seems way too complicated). Usually I am a fan of shopify but this app is a complete and utter fail. I purchased another app for $9.99 a month and it worked perfectly in the first 5 minutes and offers a lot of great user friendly options and customization. Do NOT waste your energy on this. It is time I should've spent on developing my business. Would gladly spend money than get something for free that doesn't work.

Hey, there! Thanks for taking the time to write a review. If available, could you attempt to clear your cache on your browser? In some cases, clearing the cache on your browser can fix mirror issues that you may experience with the Shopify admin.

If the issue persists, could you try to use a separate browser? For example, if you are using Safari - try this action on Google Chrome.

This app is a little gliltchy. It doesn't always create all the barcodes for new items, it doesn't have a cart or easy way to print tags for new items, and just about every other time, it doesn't populate the print window and you have to generate tags again. Very time consuming and only works with Dymo label printers, which are marginal also. I expected much more!

Thank you for leaving this review. To create barcodes for new products only, please follow these steps (http://bit.ly/2w4VxG2) to add barcodes to any products or variants that don't currently have a barcode assigned to them.

In terms of the issue you mentioned with the print window not populating, this may be a browser issue. I recommend testing this out in a Chrome browser to see if the same problem occurs.
