This app is an absolute joke.

It has 0 support for Cyrillic alphabets, so it becomes absolutely unusable for our shop in Bulgaria.

We’ve raised this to Shopify support several time over 2 YEARS, and still there is no support.

Even though we are quite fond of Shopify to an extent, it often feels like the company is sloppy and not committed to maintaining and fixing their older apps.

I’ve encountered with the Google Merchant Center integration on my Shopify store. Specifically, the GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) for my products is not syncing properly with Google Merchant Center, which has led to limited product performance and visibility.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. Our team works hard to improve our app functionality, so we’d like to look into this further for you. Can I ask if you are using the app to generate your product barcodes as well as printing them? If so, that might be part of the issue. GTINs are a unique and internationally recognised identifier that is assigned for a product, whereas the Retail Barcode Label will generate it's own barcodes. If you can provide a bit more information about how you utilise the app in relation to your barcodes and the related GTIN issue, that would be super helpful. Please feel free to add it to your current review and I would be happy to address it, if possible.

Thank you for your review! We understand how important it is to have your barcodes work in all marketplaces you utilize. If you are referring to the GTIN in Google for your products, they are a globally unique ID number and must be obtained externally. However, you can utilize these GTIN ID's as your barcodes to be printed on the labels! You can always reach out to our support teams at help.shopify.com to assist you with this issue!

It's just plain awful. Printing labels should be a one click and done process. This is very far away from being a functional product for brick and mortar shops. Shopify is a world class e-commerce platform. We've been flatly shocked at how empty the entire Point of Sale experience has been, and this app just personifies the entire journey. Lacks basic functionality. When we onboarded with Shopify - it never occurred to us that we should ask such absurd questions like - "does your platform have a way to print labels for products that is in keeping with the fact that we live in the year 2024?"

Should have asked. Here we are after a 3-month migration to Shopify - wishing we could go back in time and know better.

this thing is a joke...they are trying to push POS and they can even have a lable printing softward tha works half way decent.
- The issue is you can not edit the font size
- every thing is just placed onto one line
- if you print a barcode, then scan it on the POS it doesn't go to the actual variant. It goes to the main product then you have to choose manually the variant. So we sell clothing surf products so it only pulls up the main category then you have to actually manually enter in which size or color or whatever variant you have manually.

"Customization" is a joke. Only have two lines whether you have a barcode or not and the first line can only reference a single field. Can only show price, not compare at price?! Typical Shopify half-baked app.

VERY BAD!!! IT MESSED UP SO MANY OF MY PRODUCTS DUE TO GENERATING SO MANY DUPLICATE BARCODES...I BROUGHT IT UP SO MANY TIMES TO THEM AND IT STILL GENERATES DUPLICATES

It's understandable that product and variant names need to be truncated to fit on the label but this app does so inconsistently and even in different ways on the same print job. I've submitted tickets to Shopify but nothing has been fixed.

Useless - Sometimes, this apps creates the same barcode ID for different variants. Each barcode needs to be unique. Now I understand why my inventory not always match. This should be an easy fix, but unfortunately, this app looks like the product and developer team left it.

ZERO STARS!! Do NOT waste your time. Constantly comes back with errors and will not generate barcodes. Followed all the 'fixes' suggested by support OVER and OVER and OVER and NOTHING works.

This has cost me a ton of time and issues with my store.
