This app has worked flawlessly for us for almost 4 years now! I only wish there was a little more flexibility in the fields we can include on tags.
I have been using the app for 3 years now and it used to work fine, but now all of the sudden within the past couple of months, the app is automatically updating barcodes which prevents the labels on existing products from scanning. I keep re adding the barcodes and it continues to randomly change them. I'd love to know of a way to prevent this from happening.

It would be unexpected that the app would spontaneously create it's own barcodes, however, when you are creating barcodes for new products it is possible that the existing ones can be overwritten if the *Replace any existing barcodes with new ones. If a product or variant doesn’t have a barcode yet, create a new barcode* setting is selected in the *Create barcodes for products* dialog box options. It would definitely be worth reaching out to our Retail support team so we can see if we can establish the root cause and prevent this from happening again. I like using this app but I hate the limitation of the label sizes. Especially, when I got a phomemo label printer and can't find the right size label to print. I have a 1.5 x 1 labels on a roll and there are no option for this size or no option for a 2.25x1 option either. I expected when click on other options there would be an option for custom but nope.

You mentioned that you are using a Phomemo printer - for context, the app is designed to be used only with a compatible barcode printer models which would not include that brand. A full list of supported printer models can be found here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-person/hardware/barcode-printer#supportedhttps://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-person/hardware/barcode-printer. This means that only labels supported for use with those printers can be printed from the app, which would not include a 1.5'' x 1'' size label. Full list of supported label brands/sizes can be found here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-person/hardware/barcode-printer/retail-barcode-labels#supported-label-sizes. We would recommend purchasing a supported printer and label size so that you can print quickly and easily. We have been using this app for over 4 years and it has worked well for us. However, in the last month it has given us so many glitches. Shopify support can't help on this one. I've spent hours on this! It's randomly reassigning barcodes to products so when we scan an item at checkout it doesn't recognize it. Manufacture barcodes that we added so we could just scan the product aren't recognized anymore. we are having to manually lookup items at checkout or just redo barcodes on 100's of items. We are a small business and don't have time for this. Hopefully this will resolve itself soon because overall it's a great app.

eine einfache anwendung die ihren zweck erfüllt aber doch zahlreiche schwächen hat. in verbindung mit shopify und zebra drucker bleibt kaum gestaltungsspielraum. längere bezeichnungen werden bis zur unleserlichkeit verkleinert um in eine zeile zu passen.

I can not finde size of label 31x22. only 31x31
And scaner not scanned qr code!
when new stock arrives, would it be possible to directly show which products still need to have labels printed? This is a functionality which we are missing...

it works in the admin to print labels but it would be great if it was available on the pos app as a tile

While it is possible to print barcode labels from the admin using the Retail Barcode Label app in a browser window on your POS device, I can see that having the ability to print directly from the POS app would be helpful, as you wouldn't need to switch between interfaces.

Very glitchy. When adding products it keeps previous printed products in gthe cue so you will have to restart app or manually go to each and set print to 0 so as to not duplicate barcode printing

When pulling up the product view to select the products you wish to print labels for, it should pull up a list of all your available products to do so, rather than pulling up products previously printed. My needs are simple for this. It would be nice if there was also a way to also add product metafields to the label. Like for showing a shorter name, or just product code. Otherwise, it seems to be alright.
