Terrible experience for €45/month

Honestly, this service is extremely disappointing for the price. You pay €45/month and in return you get a platform with basically no real support. They allow you to import reviews from other platforms only after subscribing to the €45 plan, and even then the import is done poorly, accents and special characters disappear, making everything look unprofessional.

When you contact support, they tell you it can take up to 5 business days to get a reply, which is unacceptable for a paid service.

The Shopify 2.0 app blocks widgets are extremely basic, you can barely change anything. They tell you that you can customize the widget however you want, but if you try to save your custom style they hand you a huge 350+ line code snippet to manually insert into your theme. I clearly have no experience touching code, and I’m certainly not going to risk breaking my site. In situations like this, they should be the ones adding the code for the customer, not the other way around.

If the support team steps in quickly and actually fixes these issues, I will gladly update my review, but for now, charging €45/month for something that delivers so little value is simply not acceptable.

We migrated from Judge.me to Reviews.io because we needed access to Seller Ratings and other advanced features that weren’t available with our previous app. Don’t get us wrong, Judge.me is a great platform, and we used it successfully for five years (yes, five!) without a single issue. However, as our company grew, we felt our review system needed to grow with us.

We chose Reviews.io because they are a Google verified partner and because their feature set aligned perfectly with what we were looking for. After installing the app, we did encounter a few challenges, but their support team was exceptional. They stayed with us every step of the way and didn’t stop until everything was fully resolved.

A special shout-out to Trilok, who spent many hours chatting with me and helping troubleshoot every issue. At no point did I feel like giving up; everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely committed to finding solutions, which gave me full confidence that everything would work out in the end.

For those who are curious, our issues included duplicated reviews during file transfers and over 3,000 products not syncing properly. That said, the team handled everything professionally, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

We have nothing but great things to say about Reviews.io and highly recommend it to any store ready to take their reviews to the next level. Thank you! :)
