I was excited to try Rollo given their reputation in the small business shipping space, but my experience as a first-time buyer raised immediate concerns. My account was flagged/blocked during onboarding, and the resolution process introduced unnecessary friction for what should be a straightforward setup.

As a small business owner, speed and simplicity matter. Most of the information requested during the process was already available, which made the experience feel more cumbersome than it needed to be.

To be clear, the hardware itself is solid and well-regarded. However, the onboarding and account experience didn’t meet expectations—especially when compared to how quickly you can get up and running with alternatives like Shopify, Pirate Ship, or ShipStation.

Ultimately, I chose to move forward with another solution. If Rollo can streamline their onboarding and reduce friction for legitimate new users, they’ll be in a much stronger position—because the core product has real potential.

Rollo Ship has made a huge difference in my day-to-day. It saves me time, streamlines my shipping process, and makes everything so much easier to manage!! The customer support is also incredibly fast and always on top of things whenever I need help.

Shopify not syncing to rollo. Have to uninstall/delete connection, reconnect for it to populate orders. States refreshed, but it's not refreshed.

Edit 1: After working with support, unable to login to their account due to 2fa, and then permissions issues on their provided account(s) for them to try to track and test. Then they ghosted me, never responding to my message/emails for support requests. Still broken and randomly/intermittently not showing orders. Unreliable is an understatement. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

Have connected and re-connected it shows its updated but no orders ever populate. Doesn't work unless you create and manually enter an order in the app

shopify orders not populating - same issue others reported.. have to enter shipping info manually as if the connection doesn't exist

Connected my Shopify store, but no orders are being populated.

edit 1* (moved from 1 star to 3) In the top right corner of the "Orders" tab, there is a toggle called "Group." I turned this toggle to the off position and my orders showed up. I will add more to this review as I explore the app.

I have my Shopify and Etsy connected, but still have to manually type in all shipping information.

I use Rollo for all of my shipping needs. I am pleased that it can print an invoice as well as a label at the same time. Easy to correct weights if you make a mistake. I also like that you can print multiple orders at the same time. This postal label maker is a lot easier to use than the labels on two sheet with your printer.
