We did the big switch after MailChimp announced they were no longer going to be integrating with Shopify. As bummed out as I initially was at the hours of work ahead of me in changing platforms, I am SO glad we did! The importing was easy and quick, designing our e-blasts is so much more intuitive than MailChimp was, and in my opinion, look even better. Plus everything is within Shopify, which I love. I've only sent out our initial e-blast, but so far I am thrilled with the experience.
Edited to add: One hiccup I've run into is not having the ability to send campaigns to just one or two people chosen from my customers. That would be a really helpful addition. You can email groups of chosen people based on tags and groups created out of tags, but I would love the ability to also be able to choose people just by searching for their name rather than a tag or group.
Seguno was the last of many email systems I tried and I could almost weep with emotion! To me starting out and needing a simple system where I feel in control and being able to rely on 5star customer service was so important.
If you're looking for a 5 Star email marketing system where you don't need a university degree in order to figure it out.... STOP! Seguno Is What You Need!
This app is fantastic and Chris & team are amazing!
It makes it incredibly easy to put together professional emails quickly, within Shopify, and using the same platform that you already know from your site customization (section, collections, etc).
It integrates easily with Mailchimp so you can import your existing contacts in minutes, and it has it's own great tracking features as well, so you can do a ton and never have to leave Shopify.
The automation tools are great. Everything is highly customizable and easy to to use.
I highly recommend this app to anyone that likes to save time while easily putting out high quality emails to promote your products and represent your brand. You should install it yesterday;) As soon as you try it out, you'll absolutely love it...
This app is AMAZING it has all the basics set up that a marketing email campaigns needs.
1. The interface is really friendly and easy to manage because it really do looks like you're in your Shopify theme editor.
2. Emails templates are simples and customizables as you want.
3. When you need it can generate singles codes for each customers based your shop's codes set up.
I don't see any problem with this app and I'm really glad I found it ! Also the support team is quick and friendly.

I’m so happy I stumbled across this app! It’s made my life so much easier as I was struggling to use Mailchimp! The integration with Shopify is spot on. The only things they could criticise is the help documentation and the ability to use Google Fonts to have a better branding experience.

We wish all the cool fonts worked in most email clients too but we limit choices there to make sure how you design it is how your subscribers will see it. And we definitely agree with you on the documentation front but will be making big changes to expand our Help Center soon. Really like this App... It's just like working everything from my Shopify Admin... Just sent out our 1st email newsletter with it & everything was delivered on time as scheduled... It's Easy to learn how to use and easy to use! And it's integrated with my shopify admin and pulls directly from admin like customers and emails. And super easy to learn how to use and place discounts in, etc. I LOVE IT!!! So much easier than my last email system! Thank you guys at Seguno!
