*NEW* If your customers already use barcodes/QR codes with Shopify customer ID, customer name, phone number or email encoded inside; there are no setup steps required. Simply scan or type in the barcode.
Otherwise, if you wish to use custom barcodes with values that are currently not in Shopify:
- Register your customer - associate a unique barcode or QR code with a customer. This step is only required once per customer.
- Scan or type in the associated barcode and easily pull up customer information or add customers to your POS cart.
- Scan barcodes and QR codes using a mobile device’s camera.
