SEO On: Blog post builder

The app is easy to use. I had a question for support immediately after installing. They responded immediately and though my request wasn't supported in-app, Nim was very courteous and quickly made a custom edit to help me out.

I had some issues with formatting, and enabling the app on our store theme. Mia was very helpful and super reactive in replying to my queries, she patiently guided me through the different steps, and we were able to solve my problems.

At first, I was very happy to find this app. Their customer support, which was nice, asked me to leave a review. Without testing the app, I left a 5-star rating. However, once I started testing, I was shocked that this app is even allowed on the Shopify App Store.

Here's the reason why I changed my review:

First, it removes content such as images and numbered lists, messes up any HTML code you have by adding theirs and injecting a line of code at the top which ruins your code, doesn’t save alt texts, and so on. The most important for me was the wiping of content which is unacceptable!

I reported these issues a week ago, asking them to fix them. They told me multiple times that the photo deletion bug was fixed, just to notice it wasn't. I had to reupload those photos every single time and the problem is still there. About 6 times I had to reupload the photos and fix the problems in the Shopify's Default Blog Editor.

If their app was not deleting content I was more than happy to use it. But after multiple videos I've sent, pinpointing proof that the content gets deleted, the issue was still there.

The last drop is when I specifically asked them not to make changes without my permission, yet they did. I never requested a font change in my code—I only asked you to fix the issue causing my blog content to be wiped.

It’s extremely unprofessional to claim a fix has been implemented while I continue to experience content loss, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. I understand this is a free app, but before launching it, test it on your own store instead of risking to ruin other people’s hard work.

Outstanding customer service! When their app didn't place the author's information on the page like we would prefer, they wrote CSS for us so that moving forward it displays exactly the way we want. Really fantastic customer service!

I'm happy with this product and thankful for the free version. It allows me to add more features to our blog while keeping things simple and streamlined. The support via chat is quick and helpful :) great service!
