We've been using ShipHero for 2 weeks and the software has not disappointed. The software is robust so it's a bit intimidating at first. And if it wasn't for Danielle (our fantastic account Rep) I don't think we would be using ShipHero today. Danielle stuck with us and was super patient in answering every question we had, whenever she did not have the answer, she always followed up.
Our business needs are very peculiar and we were able to adapt the system to our process without issues. Now we are running a faster and more organized inventory management and fulfillment process.
Of course there are more features we would like to see (as with every software), in our case would love to see an Android App and the ability to translate the software to Spanish. However, that will hopefully be released in the future.
This is a personal, responsive company that really understands what warehousing software needs to provide. Unlike the competitors, the workflows are user-centric. If you are packing, you see only the information you need to efficiently pack. Likewise with picking, receiving and every other warehouse operation.
Customer service is handled via online chat and they are FAST. If you have a question, they respond with an answer within minutes. No more down time while waiting for tickets!

In early 2018 we replaced Stitch Labs, our previous Inventory Management Software, with ShipHero. Prior to ShipHero, our Customer Service team was spending hours printing orders. We had a team of Order Checkers doing nothing but checking orders that had been pulled by our 1st team of order pullers to ensure the integrity of the order. We also were having to use a second software platform, ShipStation, to handle the actual shipping process.
With ShipHero, we were able to eliminate all of this. Thanks to paperless order picking via barcode scanning, we no longer print and staple orders for hours every day. Since every product gets scanned before it gets added to a bin, we were also able to transition our entire team of order checkers to other positions which immediately made us more productive. And as for the shipping process, we were able to eliminate a second software charge because ShipHero handles the process from start to finish.
Now, only because it’s my second nature to always be looking for something better, in March of 2019 I began participating in demo’s of other inventory management systems. We looked in depth at Veeqo, Tradegecko, BrightPearl, SKUvault, OrderHive, Zoho and Clear Spider. All of these systems had their strengths and weaknesses but due to BIG promises of a more streamlined workflow and better reporting, we left ShipHero and went with SKUvault. Needless to say, after 2 months of ‘Training and Implementation’ and 3 weeks Live operating the software, it was not what we had hoped for. We were spending 2x longer preparing orders because each order had to be assigned to a session. We were spending 2x longer pulling orders due to the additional steps involved. Our ‘Just in Time’ dept was spending 3x longer preparing orders because the workflow was too complicated and time consuming. Granted, SKUvault attempted to help us work through all of this but, in the end, the functionality was inefficient.
The reality of all of this is that none of these systems came close to matching the functionality and efficiency of ShipHero. ShipHero welcomed us back with open arms and got us up in running again in just a couple of days. Yosef and the entire team at ShipHero came together to make it happen. We now have our wholesale and retail sites connected back to ShipHero and plan to add our brick and mortar next.
The nightmare is over (as every team manager in my office/warehouse has told me).

ShipHero solved a huge fulfillment problem we were having and has allowed us to efficiently track product lot codes by shipment. Matt was extremely helpful during onboarding and open to unorthodox solutions/ideas to solve the problem we encountered with other software. We previously tried 4-5 other cloud inventory management/fulfillment "solutions" that did not solve anything for us - including ShipStation and Trade Gecko. ShipHero is our inventory and shipping hero :)

Excellent software, excellent support. We're tried several shipping solutions, including outsourced and ShipHero is the only one that has worked flawlessly for shipping product.
Stop looking, you found the right one.
We LOVE ShipHero. Its hand down the best warehouse management system we have found. Easy to use and setup. We are much more efficient because of it. We cannot recommend it enough.
If your store does over $10million a year in revenue, talk to ShipHero. They are the kings.
A few things I love about ShipHero
It's an all-in solution including inventory management, cross-channel syncing, returns management, order management and shipping including built in barcoding and integrations with the shipping carriers.
Scale. ShipHero can handle those sale days when you do 10,000 orders in a day with no sweat. If you go through the list of the 25 largest Shopify stores, several use ShipHero. If you're big, no one can compete with ShipHero.
Reliability. The system works and you don't have to deal with things not working or going slow all the time.
It's powerful. Automation rules, multi warehouse support including routing between multiple of your own facilities and outside 3PLs (those 3PLs have to be using ShipHero, and a ton are). The ability to set permissions for different users. Auditing so you know who did what when. And I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of other points.
The integration with Shopify is awesome, syncing details on returns, refunds, products and order.
And maybe best of all, the team knows their stuff and will get you onboarded and set up.
ShipHero is a powerful software solution back-end for your e-commerce operations, highly recommended. Whether you are working in popular storefronts like Shopify or on Amazon, the best marketing, the best product, the best stores.. All of it quickly falls apart without integral fulfillment. Efficiently getting product out to customers, handling the organizational overload of multiple e-commerce front ends or hundreds of orders, interfacing with multiple carriers and tiers to keep shipping costs in check, maximizing efficiency in the warehouse, and most of all organization.. ShipHero brings all this and more to the table. Support has been excellent, we needed clarification and a feature change to meet the extensive customization in our e-commerce operations, ShipHero saw the benefit and expanded their API within a day. That kind of attention to detail, initiative and support when combined with an already stellar software product make for an unbeatable combination. Our expanding e-business needs a solid foundation, Shiphero has provided this for us.
ShipHero has been a real blessing to our operation and has proven itself to be a real solution to a number of time-consuming issues we've had.
The fundamentals of our warehousing process are:
-picking orders from about 100 SKUs
-determining the most efficient shipping method
-packaging the order
ShipHero was likely not designed for our particular needs, but we found it to be highly adaptable and the customer service was truly top notch. We realized just the other day that it was the first day since we had implemented ShipHero that we had not been in contact with their engineers at some point. This level of customer service is what makes a SaaS product great.
Don't misunderstand this statement: features of ShipHero were behaving exactly as intended. We simply had fairly technical questions about how to adapt ShipHero to our needs and the staff were more than happy to help.
I even had one incident where our company was ready to pay ShipHero engineers to develop a custom modification for us. I had a nice screenshare with Aaron Rubin where he pointed out, in an extremely polite and helpful way, that ShipHero was already solving our issue and no development would be needed.
When I first started looking at developing inventory and restocking strategies for our company, I noted the difficulty in tracking changes in inventory due to our 5 different sales channels. ShipHero immediately resolved this issue by giving us the ability to process fulfillment (and thus inventory) for all of our sales channels.
It helped us wrangle out-of-control international shipping losses before they became a serious issue for our finances.
It increased our fulfillment accuracy to the theoretical maximum level (100% accuracy on the human side) by supporting barcode scans and simplifying the flow of decisions for our shipping employees.
ShipHero was designed with Lean best practices in mind. We now have a shipping process that features a very high work content, with tons of data available in the reports to help us with continuous improvement projects.
We are able to fully train shipping employees in around 2 hours now.
As an E-Commerce business analyst who is obsessed with data-driven business decisions and the tenets of Lean, I wholeheartedly recommend ShipHero!

Our business was growing at such a rate that we could barely keep up with the volume of orders each day. We were in need of a system that was much more efficient and accurate compared to the current system we were using, which was basically "Stone Age" technology. We needed a system that controlled our inventory across our various sales channels, IN REAL TIME, to prevent running out of stock, causing customer back orders. We wanted a system to seamlessly purchase products from our manufacturers, receive them into our warehouse inventory, and make them available for sale on our channels. Picking and shipping orders with paper invoices, one at a time, was just not efficient any more. Trying to determine the cheapest and fastest shipping carrier ourselves was slowing our throughput with shipping. We were tired of manually taking metrics and entering them in an excel sheet to create reports on our progress within the warehouse. The list when on, and on, and on...
Once we found ShipHero, it was game on! It seemed as though every thing we needed to improve upon to grow our business, ShipHero had an answer for. The ShipHero Support staff was instrumental in assisting in the implantation of their system. They stayed in constant communication every time we had questions about how to use or implement the system until we had a solution. With a very useful support web page, YouTube videos, LIVE webchat, and the rest of their solutions support team, setting up ShipHero was not that hard at all.
In a little over 6 weeks, our warehouse went from the stone age to the 21st century and we couldn't be happier! The warehouse used to be a focal point of our attention, now that we have ShipHero in place, we can focus our entire attention on continuing to grow our business!
