Any company should prioritize having a great customer service team and that's what ShipMonk has. We encounter issues but that's normal in any business. I have been onboarding with ShipMonk which is a complicated and difficult process in the best of circumstances. The ship monk app is easy to use and comprehensive. The onboarding support team goes the extra mile to ensure everything works the way it needs to. Highly recommend so far.

No problem with the App, but awful, awful customer service. Stay far away.

The service while using the app was ok. They're a little expensive, and a bit slow. But mostly good enough.

When we decided to stop the service, they were a disaster. First they failed to get our inventory ready in time for pickup, then they continued to charge us after we closed our account.

If our customer service experience so far is any indication, we'll end up needing to take them to small claims court in order to recover our money.

My advice, if you must use ShipMonk, is to use a credit card that offers a "virtual card" feature, so that you can prevent them from billing your after you close your account. I have such a feature, but sadly didn't use it.

Better, though, is to avoid them altogether. There are other 3PL companies that don't have these issues.

I now have 2 accounts with Shipmonk and they have been great overall! Just opened my 2nd account with them and Joan in the onboarding team was exemplary! She really went above and beyond to get our store live quickly as we immediately had several orders that had to be fulfilled quickly! Enzo also jumped in and was great but Joan really stuck with us and made sure we could get set up fast!

Everything about them is amazing! From my first sales call, to every onboarding call since, Shipmonk has been the most seamless and comforting aspect of my journey in e-commerce. They are kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable, and they always put me at ease. transitioning to a warehouse from in house fulfillment was a really huge step for my business. searched for a long time to find the right fulfillment center that checked all the boxes for Wild Woods.

initially it was a huge learning curve for me - im not very tech savvy so some of the onboarding process was challenging for me to understand.
luckily I was able to contact a shipmonk team member very easily every time I would call in. they answered all of my questions, screen-shared with me, & walked me through certain processes I didnt full understand.

recently we have decided to sell on amazon, and I was worried it was going to be a really difficult process to have our invnentory split between shipmonk and FBA but after speaking with customer service at shipmonk they explained everything and the process is really quite easy. shipmonk is familiar with amazons receiving guidelines and all I have to do is submit an order and add to the notes that its going to an amazon warehouse and they literally take care of the rest. I am really impressed!!

matthew scherer has helped me immensley, he is very in depth when explaining things- always gets back to me right away with email and has just been a blessing in helping me anytime I have needed it! amanda jones, & sarah box have also been a huge help in various requests I have called in about.

I am really happy with our choice to go with shipmonk. now that I understand the system on a better level, everything is easier and more fluid.

My Etsy small business has been integrated with ShipMonk about three months ago and I have had nothing but a great experience. The onboarding process was complicated but thanks to the Onboarding Associate Katie Foss who is very knowledgeable, patient, and professional it went smoothly as well as shipping and ordering since then. Katie was very helpful with pricing and rates when it came to loading inventory on initial shipments.
I integrated my Shopify store just a day ago. The integration team, especially WILLIAM BIELEFELD was very helpful with a very quick response time, careful explanations, and guidance.
I would definitely recommend ShipMonk to small businesses. Their platform is reliable and comprehensive. Thank you ShipMonk team!

Stay away, Shipmonk has been an headache for our business for the past year.
We have been working with them for over 3 years.
WE had to fulfilled some of our order after 3days SLA passed, they still charge for the minimum pick fee and never give you a credit for their mistake.
They shipped wrong product to one of our distributors, with hand cream. it was so poor packed that everything was damaged and we were finned for wrong customs declarations.
WE lost 10000 of dollars of products. second shipment destroyed by customs because of the first one.

We have been waiting for a wholesale order, it has been over 11 days, we have some presentation samples orders and we have to wait.

For the B2c Shipmonk has been taking over 3 days to fulfilled orders resulting in loss of customers and refunds. Yesterday one of my order was supposed to be fulfilled stil waiting......

When you complain, some of them are nice some others hung up on you or make you feel uncomfortable or send you a passive agressive email.

One thing they know it s to charge your credit card!

Shipmonk has stupid high shipping. I have products that cost up to $100 to ship and they split it into two shipments AND charge the fulfillment fee for each. Which ends up being an additional $9. You will be paying the fulfillment fee monthly whether you ship the items or not. These fees are the same price as the storage fees so storage is double the price they say it is. Another thing about storage is that the allowable height of a pallet is on the lower side meaning they charge more than you can find elsewhere per pallet. When I started with them, they would reply to my emails and tickets within 24 hrs and now it takes them 4+ days. Many of the questions I ask them are for customers of mine (sometimes shipping delays and even not receiving). And then I often end up just giving my customers their money back While I wait for Shipmonk's reply. I found a company that has cheaper storage (larger pallets for same monthly fee) plus they don't charge the additional fulfillment fees AND they don't have a minimum monthly order. (The storage is literally half the price) And a HUGE advantage of this new company is the amazingly lower shipping cost. This $100 Shipping cost plus $9 fulfillment fees through Shipmonk is now only costing me a total of $30 with this new company - that includes fulfillment! (Went from $109 to $30) I unfortunately still have products in their warehouse and being charged a stupid amount. I have paid this other fulfillment company to pick them up. I will still need to pay Shipmonk a large amount on top of that for this other company to pick them up. Do not go with Shipmonk!!!

1.) Shipping Charges:
We're showing your account average shipping fee is substantially below your stated fee here. We suggest this is reviewed with our Client Success team immediately.

We also noticed the average weight of your shipments increased in February of 2022, which may explain for the change in shipping costs you are reporting. To example, heavier, oversized items typically incur more shipping cost. ShipMonk provides transparent, line item billings, so we're happy to review any specific orders in question and their resultant charges.

2.) Pick Fees - We're showing your account average pick fee is substantially below your claim here. We suggest this is reviewed with our Client Success team immediately.

3.) Monthly minimums - We do charge monthly minimums which are typical a result of the pallet storage you are utilizing in the fulfillment center. I absolutely love ShipMonk! Their seamless integration with the Shopify cart is what led me to them. From my first call to ask questions about the service, to the onboarding process these guys made me feel like I had a team working with me to get my product up on the market. ShipMonk really made our whole 3PL and inventory management system seamless. Before we were using a local distributor which overcharged us and consistently brought slow shipping times. Wouldn't Have Made over $3,000,000 Last Year Without Shipmonk! This software has expedited the SALES GROWTH of my business by removing the headache of shipping, storing, and hiring staff to package and process orders. With this weight off of my shoulders, I can 100% focus on new product development and effective marketing to continue increasing my business' revenue. The thing I LEAST LIKE about this software is that I didn't know it existed YEARS before! I have been using this software since the summer of 2018. Before that, I was STRUGGLING to keep up with packaging hundreds of monthly orders. Fast forwards years later, we now have THOUSANDS of orders each month. Image if I was still self-packaging my own orders with our current volume. This software is a MUST HAVE for serious business owners that want to build a business that can fully operate on its own. Overall, this software is CRITICAL because it frees my time, gives me location independence to travel, and enjoy my family without worrying about packaging material, processing orders, or interacting with shipping companies. This software gives me the security and confidence knowing that I am building a sustainable business that can and does run without me needing to be present for every aspect.

The technology/software is top notch. I've used 3 3PLs in the past with three different softwares. Shipmonk is night and day the best and has incredibly robust functionality that makes shipping/logistics management much easier. Love the UI and features they have implemented. Worth a demo of the backend to see the software. They are very innovative and have through the pain points we have to make what I feel is the best product on the market. I've visited their facility in Fort Lauderdale and have been extremely impressed with their overall operation and efficiency. Since we are a small business, customer service is the most important thing to us. Shipmonk is incredibly responsive and helped us navigate some issues we had with our SKUs. The onboarding was a breeze and would rate their customer services a 10/10.

I would highly recommend not using ShipMonk. I'm providing 2 stars because their UI is great, and the sync with Shopify is helpful so that we in theory don't have to update our inventory on a consistent basis (which in reality is not the case). If you have under 100 SKU's they may be a fit, we've been using them for a few years and everything was fine until we really starting scaling our inventory levels and SKU count. Then came receiving issues, lost inventory (and by default overselling to our customers and having to cancel orders), and sending the wrong product to our customers - as in not even inventory sold from our store (we sell dog merch, our customers have received human supplements, perfume, etc). I had to track down and reach out to the other stores separately to make sure they were aware their product (sometimes worth $100+) was being sent out to the wrong customers so they could also file claims. The lost inventory has been the biggest headache for us. When I say lost inventory I mean hundreds of units (some SKU's have a >6% shrink which ShipMonk claims is normal) that have gone missing within a few months, and no reimbursement with often what I would consider odd rational - they couldn't store everything in a single bin, therefore it's not their fault. Money drain! I will say different from other ShipMonk reviews I have mostly had good experiences with their CX team, and I think the bigger issue is that there are larger wide scale systemic issues with ShipMonk and the CX team is either not equipped to handle or they truly have no idea what happened and that's that. My negative experiences have been when agents will resolve a ticket when the issue is not fixed, so I've had to reopen tickets just to make sure they actually respond. Overall - I would keep shopping, not worth it.

I would NEVER recommend this fulfillment company to anyone... especially a startup that is trying to build their reputation. Shipmonk has been the biggest headache for me. I am the founder of my company and have direct interaction with the Shipmonk team and software on a daily basis. They have lost my product (numerous times) and blame me for it every time. Never apologizing even once it is found. They literally LOSE my product and I have to pay for their team to look for it. They charge extreme amounts for a service that is hardly fulfilled. "Over promise, Under deliver" is how I would rate Shipmonk. They do a great job at selling you on their services and once you move all your inventory and really invest in them, they start treating you like you're worth nothing to them. I currently have orders backed up for 7 days when their expected shipping timeframe is 3 days or less. No apologies just excuses. "It's a busy time of year." they say. I never take the time to write reviews but I felt this was absolutely necessary. I hope you consider ALL OTHER options before partnering with Shipmonk. By far the worse company ever!! Please do not do business with them unless you like losing money. They will never take responsibility, overcharge you and shift blame every chance they get. I've lost major account/sales cause i've done business based on their empty promises. Very poor service in terms of responding clients concerns; when they are going to ship out and send packages, it will take so long! They are not fast and very unreliable. Customer receives wrong items & colors; damaged items and others. Lastly, shipping fees are very costly, not worth with what you paid for in their bad service.

If you love having angry and confused customers or if you love refunding and canceling orders, shipmonk is the perfect choice for you.

Shipmonk is only interested in getting your money.

They can take up to ten days to dispatch a parcel, there is zero accountability or apologies for staff. If you ask why a parcel hasn't shipped, they will mark it as shipped to get you off their back, but the item's tracking information won't work because the item hasn't been sent.

Incredible experience working with Shipmonk. I have worked with a few 3PLs for my business and this has been the smoothest operation I have encountered. They receive product well, notify when in stock, the dashboard is very communicative and connects well with my store. Overall, I would recommend them to all of my fellow eComm businesses.

ShipMonk is excellent for sending packages to customers across the world. Their application allows you to directly route all shipments as they come in so you don't need to think about anything. It's a very simple and efficient fulfillment method that will save you time and money.

Shipmonk is terrible at what a 3PL should be great at: communication with its customers, shipping time, shipping accuracy, and warehousing. They've shipped another company's products to our customers, multiple times.

Shipmonk is a great order fulfillment center for eCommerce especially for young startup companies.. Quick Customer service and great online application/platform are among their main benefits. We have integrated ours with Shopify store. Two locations in CA and FL can help you optimize shipping costs.

Shipmonk is crushing. They lost our inventory, they shipped bad product, shipped empty boxes. Incorrect SKUs. Miss assigned. They overcharged us. And they take 3 weeks to get any project done. Save yourself the money and go with any other 3pl. We had 10s of negative reviews and slowed down our iventory ordering by 3 months because of this.

The app integration was fast and easy. We hired Shipmonk to fulfill orders for our startup business on Shopify. We were assigned a designated Happiness Engineer (HE) who walked us through an onboarding session to get our team familiarized with the system. Our fulfillment and shipping required custom packing specifications depending on the platform/store orders were processed from and the team was able to work with us on this. When our HE was not available, it was easy to reach out to Shipmonk for assistance by submitting a ticket online in which we would receive a response within 24 hours. The only drawback that we experience is the communication between pacific and eastern time. Although our company is based in California, we preferred the Florida warehouse to complete our order fulfillment. Overall, we are satisfied with Shipmonk’s services and team of professionals.

The onboarding process was entirely done by them within 24 hours and everything was easily set up.

Integrates very well with shopify and automatically manages and fulfills orders and inventory.

Good shipping rates and fast delivery times.

Impeccable customer service, responds and resolves issues as fast as they can.

We've been using Shipmonk (and their associated Shopify app) for more than a year now.

The onboarding process is fairly easy and they help you connect your store to their fulfillment center, and map the SKUs to their internal inventory codes. You can also do it yourself manually if you create product bundles, for instance, or they will do it for you if you have a lot of them, just by sending them a CSV.

From that moment on, Shipmonk automatically captures the orders from Shopify, processes them, and then inserts the tracking number once the order has been fulfilled.

So all in all, it is a very straightforward process and the only work you need to do is check their interface daily to verify no orders are "stuck" because the buyer entered an incorret address, or you have run out of stock of any item (which you shouldn't, as they provide a forecast on how many days of inventory you have left at the current sales rate.

All in all, very satisfied with their service and the timely delivery of the orders to my customers.

Awesome service for your fulfillment needs! Never experienced such a great customer service experience. What I like most is the customer service which is extremely professional. Also, I liked the software which is extremely user-friendly. Highly recommended!

Incredible fulfillment platform, definitely the best one I've used so far! The look and feel of the app's dashboard is very modern and easy to use. My favourite part of ShipMonk is that they don't have minimum monthly order quotas like every other fulfillment platform does, so they really help you hit the ground running right from the start :)

One of the best things about Shipmonk is their willingness to work with a small business. If I ever needed help with how to use their platform or a question about an order, their customer support is very prompt and they get back to you very fast. Using a fulfillment center is a little scary, but Shipmonk has shipped all my orders quickly and has made the transition a lot less scary!
