Don't belive what the app tells you, ours has said it's made £2954 in sales (last 30 days) retuning 768 cutomers for a spend of £450... thats pretty crap as a return goes... but here's the bad news, when you look at google analytics the truth comes out... Shoelace only got us two sales (yes only two). what a ripping off scam it is... don't trust their data at all.

it doesn't get much more simple than this. install, pick a daily budget and let shoelace do the work. if you have any questions Reza is always there with the answers. excellent customer service!

Update, I've been working with one of their team experts. She has been very helpful and checks in with me weekly with updates and ideas to improve my ad performance. My experience has improved a lot since my last review.

I installed the app a few months ago. I have not had much success with it and I really question their reporting of the retargeting sales results. I recently asked their team to make a bid adjustment to my ads. They wrote me back: "I would suggest upgrading to our Pro plan as we've discontinued the Standard plan and are only offering very minimal support to our customers who have chosen to stay on it."

This is the first time I have asked them for any assistance since installing the app. I had no idea that my plan was discontinued or that I was no longer eligible for basic customer support. Why do they think it's okay to discontinue support for a service that I have been paying for every month? Doesn't make sense to me. They must have so many customers - they don't even care if they lose our business. Not impressed at all. Poor communication. Uninstalling it this month.

Used with Kit. Worst thing we ever did to our facebook ads account! It completely took over roles and accounts/pixels etc. and we have been unable to get our ads account back to tracking the shopify data we need on our account. We will have to hire a professional just to get it put back to the way it was originally. Also the ads were generic and didn't provide a good ROI. We spent over 10k in advertising to give it a fair shot. We literally wasted that money and ended up in worse condition than we started.

Works really well - great ROI. Only drawback is that it's slow to load and that impacts on site loading speeds. Not sure if a fix is on the way but that's the only caveat really.

The app has been working great for us (easy to setup for store owners that are beginners in retargeting).
HOWEVER SHoelace recently turned off and then turned on all of our ads. So ALL OF OUR SOCIAL PROOF ON OUR ADS IS GONE. Weve spent hundreds of dollars to get lots of happy customers liking and commenting on our posts. and now we have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. I do not recommend this app.

Hi there,

We’re glad that you saw good results with the app! It looks like our system automatically updated the Facebook campaign name as a product improvement and this caused Facebook to refresh the entire ad. Any change like this (impacting ad name, copy, creative) will cause Facebook to refresh the ad, removing likes and comments. Unfortunately, the refresh is not something we can control and is standard practice for Facebook. It definitely wasn’t our intention to remove the social proof from the Shoelace campaign, and we always seek client approval prior to making creative changes on your behalf.

So far so good! I've only been using it for one week, but has increased my orders and I love that I can see on the dashboard exactly how effective the ads are.

This app is good when it works. Our initial ad campaigns via shoelace were quite a success and led me to think that the app would really help boost sales for our store, but as with all Facebook ads they stop working after time. After speaking to a customer service member and requesting new ads to get sales started again however was only provided with new ads with poor copy and images which just ended up wasting ad budget.

This app isn't really auto pilot, you do need to monitor ads and get onto customer services to impliment new ad sets once the sales dry up.
