Shogun ‑ Landing Page Builder

The app is relatively easy to use. The support is quick which is good, but it does appear to be robotic replies leading you to other video tutorials rather than looking at the actual problem and solution. There's still room for improvements. For one, headers and footers cannot be changed on shogun. If you build with one theme install, you will lose all shogun "pages" if you go with a different theme. Secondly, the tab functions could be better and more modern. Thirdly, using other apps shows to be a bit of a problem. Overall, it's satisfactory if you want some flexibility but lots of room for improvement. I think they are heading towards the right directions.

I'm all but taken away by not only the EXTREMELY VALUABLE tutorial information that Nick had shared, but also by the lengths that the support staff are willing to go to, in order to help their customers. After countless hours of research and review-reading that I've done for the past couple of months, as well as the disappointment that had nearly "rained on my parade" (due to the negative reviews given by some on a variety of sites affiliated with launching a retail store online), I'd almost turned away from my dream. Thanks to Nick and the rest of the support staff, I've turned that frown upside down. With every tutorial I watch and every confidence-building reply that I receive from these professionals, I find myself becoming more knowledgeable in a realm of the website building process and the blinders have finally been stitched on. With such talented individuals on the Shogun team, the only chance at outside failure is the inability or unwillingness to put one's defeated subconscious aside, grab that bull by the horns & force one's way down the right path. I now have the utmost respect for the staff at Shogun. PHENOMENAL EFFORT, SHOGUN!!!!!! CLASS ACT!!!! Oh..and P.S....I was in a bit of a bind today and saw that Shogun was closed until Monday. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed, but not in Shogun. I knew that I still had a ton of products to view, review, determine whether or not I wanted them in my store, price checks and practically playing the part of a day trader just to assure that I'd be competitive in the roulette-world of eCommerce. I did, however, understand that everyone needs time off each week. Then, out of the blue, Nick replied to a message that I'd sent early this morning. When I finally saw that there was a response 2 hours prior to me seeing it, I replied to his message (thinking that a time lapse would occur before I heard back from him), but to my surprise, he read my message and responded right away. Thank you, Nick!!!!

Great product, great customer service!

Can confirm this review: It's a pretty solid page builder. Lacking some functionality, especially around your ability to position elements, but nothing that can't be fixed in later updates. I wish that I could edit the category pages with greater precision.

My biggest problem is with the price. They keep raising it. $39 a month for a basic page builder is just greedy. If it were around $15 a month I'd give it 4 stars.

So far so good; really helpful tool in creating attractive pages (About, FAQ) you'd think would be included in a $180 Shopify theme. Excellent, insanely fast customer service. Jill fixed a small issue I was having two minutes after I asked. Highly recommended!

Shogun overall is great. They make creating pages very simple and easy. I have had a problem or two with the responsiveness, but even when I did the team was very quick to address and fix the issue. Great app.

Shoguns page builder was easy to use and beautiful on my website. Their customer support system was top-notch. The app is an overall hit- especially for e-com brands that want to take their store to the next level (where a theme might be too simple).

Absolutely stellar app, especially for someone new trying to figure it out. I was trying to make simple edits to my pages for months, but I couldn't implement them till I used to the app. It makes the whole process so much easier and intuitive, even if you have no coding experience (like me!).

And the customer service is fantastic. I pestered them with innumerable minor questions and they were quick to respond.

We have been working with Shogun for the past 1-2 months on our pages and it has been a good deal of work, back & worth communication, but ultimately great experience in customer service- Finbarr has been providing us with great help & support in the process of building pages and activating certain features and adjusting configurations!

4 Stars and not 5 due to honest opinion towards Shogun's ability to improve on some of the features and possibility to have more thorough tutorials regarding building blocks, like markdown, http, etc.

Looking forward to Shogun's soon-to-come update, to be able to use different templates, simultaneously on different pages.

And possibly Parallax Effect?! :)
