Shogun ‑ Landing Page Builder

This is perhaps the best app I have used so far. It is very easy to use. Anytime I find something that I think is going to need custom coding, I find a tutorial already written, not to mention that the Shogun team will get back to you very quickly if you need anything else. 5 Stars+++. I can't say enough good things about the app. It really offered everything that I needed to create a complex sales page without the expense of an outside developer.

It's much better than the other page layout apps I've used for Shopify although it would be nice if you could design headers and footers with it and apply different ones to different pages. I had a major issue and customer support resolved it. I will be recommending this to some of my other clients as well.

it made setting up the site easier but after that you are locked into shogun. if i delete this and then try to make any edits on the site the entire thing breaks.

Great, quick support, easy to use, highly recommended for anyone new to building web pages. Easy shopify integration.

Very easy to use and a huge step up on Shopify's standard blog/page builder.
Overall a very positive addition to our store and would definitely recommend to others.

A few slight tweaks could improve the overall experience:
Mobile optimsation doesn't display exactly as it does on a mobile device. The 'advanced settings' box are difficult to input data in to as you can't see what numbers you're putting in. Bit of guesswork needed.
The in app picture compression/editing software does not always work well enough to use.

App has issues with Firefox. So, use Crome or Safari to work with this product until they fix. The team at Shogun was quick to respond and address my issues.

Now that it is working, the app is pretty good. Does exactly what they claim and I am very pleased. Only 4 Stars as their documentation is still lacking. But I highly recommend this app for anyone wanting to work within their a theme and get some control over layout. I was able to use their columns to create pricing tables that could not be done any other way (or without custom coding), plus some other good results.

Could not uninstall this app soon enough.
Looks simple and should be. Could not "drag and drop" anything. Tried every option and nothing.

No manual or documentation to easily find. Not worth the 20 minutes I cannot get back after using (or trying to use0 this app.

You can achieve the look you want if you have alot of time to kill. There is alot tweaking to do to get something look right. Honestly most the time it drives me nuts how much I have to mess around with something so it looks the exact same on both desktop and mobile. The mobile preview is not accurate and I need to expand to full screen to make sure desktop view isnt cutting anything out of view. I'd think everything is okay until I view it fullscreen and then I have to tweak and tweak again and alot of the time I end up changing the image I wanted to use. In the editor a product image may look nice and large but in the actual live view on my phone when published it would be so small. I'd have to go back in and blow the image up till it looks right on mobile but then the image would be too huge on desktop. Its alot of tweaking.
I have also had issues with product images / listings not showing LIVE but shows inside the editor. The team tells you to delete your cookies etc. I have always questioned if I have to delete my cookies to view the website as it should look, what about other people visiting my website who have cookie overload too? Will they not be able to view stuff? I never recived an answer.
Been using shogun since Feb 2019 , sometimes I really love it and other times I hate how much it works me hard. It's ok. When I started it was $19, now I'm seeing that it is $39. I'm wondering why so high? It's not worth $39 (analytics or not).

The page templates it comes with arent the best designs and they don't work very well. They look very squeezed on mobile. I have a hard time picking one that can work. The example store used here (leesa.com) looks nothing like their templates or anything that can be achieved using the drag and drop builder. I assume coding was involved.

Useful app, great support! I tested a Landing page creation, works fine, easy to use. I also had some questions and the reply from the support team was very quick and clear. Definitely, I recommend!
