I can see that this is v powerful so am happy that I've purchased it. To be honest I found the early stages confusing as it's not the most intuitive software I've ever used so it took me a while to get it working. That said, I made contact with their support and they've been super helpful and sorted me out completely. My suggestions would be to enable phone support (love Shopify's support calls, so much better than email based) and to develop a new onboarding program where it takes me through the principles of how it works as much as the details of how you do specific things. I think they have all the right detail out there in various vids but they need a more comprehensive 'Getting Started' program that's in one place and I can watch for 10 minutes and be super familiar - I felt a bit like I had to negotiate a not-super-intuitive platform in the dark. But overall it's a great platform.
There is simply no better app. I don't leave reviews often but I feel this app deserve my review.

Right, I see I am not the only one that has been hoodwinked by this "free" plan option. To further compound to the mysery of this, I am also being charged a 2nd month re-occuring, despite not even using the app? Could you please get in touch and sort this on your end coz it's just embarrsing for you guys...

While I apologize for the inconvenience that has been caused, I wanted to let you know that my colleague reached out to you via email to explain this further.
It looks like your account started a 10-day trial for our Build plan. This was started on May 2nd. You upgraded from the Free plan to a trial of the paid Build plan at that time.
The Free plan and paid plans work differently.
After the 10-day free trial is activated, if the app is not uninstalled (considering you won't be using the app), the app must be uninstalled by the end of the 10-day trial period to avoid recurring monthly charges for paid app subscriptions.
However, since the app was not uninstalled until June 15, those recurring charges from Shopify occurred.
My team has shared further information in the email and they also tried to reach out to you via phone but were not able to connect with you.

Oh my gosh. I AM HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE with this app.
I have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours trying to build my store by just using a theme I purchased, and I never felt like I could even make my store go live because it was just not 'right'.
But then...I found Shogun and EVERYTHING CHANGED.
Not only did they blow me away by responding to any questions I had *almost instantly*, but the program is really, really, really great. It is easy, beautiful, and honestly, really fun!

Charging $39 USD although the app is uninstalled. That is insane. Let me remind you all that $39 is almost double the amount you give to shopify in total. Which is insane
Hey Christian- sorry to hear the frustration. To clarify, Shopify controls billing for all apps in the app store, including Shogun- we didn't initiate the charge. Of course, we will be glad to process a refund promptly. To address the price factor- most of our clients find that the $39/mo cost is significantly less than the cost of custom coding. If you're on a tight budget, we can make some recommendations for free apps that might better fit your use case. Our support team will email shortly to help facilitate the refund. I reinstall the app to work again with, it starts to erase my product description with some code inside. I send a email to the support and Kalen and Adam were very reactive, they did all the maximum to solve my problem. Even if, I had to call my dev to setup again my product description, this customer support is great.
This app is great to use as our Landing Page with our Google Ads. Its more affordable than Unbounce. I do wish they had the ability to have a drop down form where each form option could lead a vistor to a different URL on our site. Hopefully that feature will be added in the future. For now, I will just create a separate landing page for each campaign that we are targeting.

It works but Its got a lot glitches, half the time you can't change the color of text or font style or size. It erased the page I was working on, 2 hours of work when I published the page down the drain it erased half the page. And when you link product URL to shop button it bounces you off the page and onto product page in store, then when you go back it freezes what your working on then I have close & reopen just get it to work.
