the "free plan" doesn't actually allow you to do anything useful. more overpriced garbage.

Hi again, Sarah! I tried to reach out via the phone number we had on the account and I wasn't able to connect with you.
I see you have decided to uninstall the app, however, I didn't notice the app was utilized to test our elements or to design the page (s) further that would offer a better understanding of what the app can allow you to achieve and I apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience here.
I haven't heard back from you via email either and I wanted to check if I can connect with you to discuss the issue further or understand your requirements.

The Free plan as suggested is limited when it comes to features and elements. It is a way for our users to test the basic functionality of the app, get a feel for the editor and see if this would be a good fit for the requirements. It offers 1 publishable page.
I am sorry to hear that you feel the Free plan doesn't allow you to do anything useful and we'd be interested to learn more about what exactly were you looking to use the Free plan for.

It looks like there has been some misunderstanding here. I was going through the support conversations and our team has responded to every question right away. However, I suspect our replies were not received at the email address you used to reach out to us. This can happen is the email service provider is blocking the domain or if the replies end up in the spam folder.
I have reached out via email in a separate thread and I will try and connect via phone to learn about the pain points further. We are always happy to assist our users and we'd surely like to turn this experience around.

Sorry, but I don't understand how to use this App. Two many sections, heading, boutons, you get lost easily.
It was a complete lost of time.

No actual free plan, you're tricked into downloading it only to be brought to a page to give them money.
Can't even see if their templates might be fit for my store, not a super good business model to say you can try it out for free when you're instantly hit with a paywall. That's definitely a false advertising move.

We do offer a Free plan which is available for users and stores who are installing Shogun for the first time as the plan is more of a way to test the app and the editor. However, looking at your account, I see our app was installed 3 months ago, on 2023-05-09 and the Build plan was activated. The app was then uninstalled and reinstalled again on August 1, 2023, which is why you didn't see the Free plan option since the Build plan was the last plan activated on the account.
I can understand the frustration here and I'll be happy to look into this further for you.

Amazing tool, very easy and intuitive, and especially necessary within shopify, since its default customization is very limited unless you know your way around the code.
Cool App. Amazing customer experience.

another stupid app, i installed this app to try it on my product page, but when i uninstall it then it f....up my product page, you can not reset the settings,,,now i have to delete the product and add it all over again to m store
the worse thing is that i saw that the modification that i did on one product page is affecting all the other products pages,, so i have to reinstall my theme all over again and setup all the customization that i did which means doing the work all over

Sorry to hear that you had issues with the use of Shogun.
Shogun makes very minimal additions to your theme and does not have the ability to edit all of your product pages, just the ones that you import into Shogun and edit in Shogun - even then, we don't edit the theme, just the product description.
We called once to try to help you resolve the issues, and also followed up by email offering further assistance - we appreciate honest reviews and would never ask you to remove or amend a review until we helped you resolve the issues that you were experiencing and were 100% satisfied with the solution. Unfortunately, we have not heard back from you to our offers of assistance - but please always feel free to get in touch if you require assistance.

It is unfortunate that the free version allows you to work in a very limited way. While with other page builders you have access to much more. I wanted to try shogun but because they keep everything so limited with the free version I am not much with this.

Update: In the meantime I had several contacts and also multiple attempts from different people at Shogun to assist me and to make it right (which really speaks for them). I still decided to uninstall their app. They helped to clean-up my site and removed any leftover code, too. Based on their eager to please customer service I would have given it another try with their app, but in the meantime we decided to walk a different route and there is no longer a need for us to use such an app/their app. I changed my initial rating from 1 star to 3 stars - because of their high interest to win me back and make it right. Their customer support seems to be excellent. I will leave my initial feedback below - so you can see where I was coming from and what happened initially. I had a VERY unpleasant experience with this app - BE AWARE!!!
I installed it to test and see what it does and it created ALL KIND of unwanted side effects!!
It modifies the HTML of your product in Shopify!! Even after you delete the test product page - their HTML code still is left in your product HTML - they don't clean up their @#$%! They even redirected one of my product URL and it took me some time to figure out how I could revert back to my original product listing/collection. Uninstalling their app does NOT clean up the changes they made to your Shopify store/pages/products!!! As I said - BE AWARE - if you like their app and stay with them - then you are probably ok, but if you just want to check it out and test it - I strongly recommend not to use one of your active products or pages and be aware that you have to do quite some clean up afterwards after you decide not to use their app!

I can see you were communicating with my colleague, however, I also reached out to you in a separate email explaining this in detail and how we can help resolve the issue for you. Having said that, allow me to share a bit more information here.
It looks like you had deleted a few product pages that were imported to Shogun. We don't recommend deleting pages that are imported to Shogun such as the product pages. If you wish to move back to the original version of the page before the import, we have a feature called Revert Import that helps to restore the original version of any page you've imported into Shogun.
Also, when you uninstall Shogun from your Shopify store, all live pages remain live on the store. This is the reason why our code also remains in the theme to ensure that these pages do not encounter any issues. This is again, the reason why we suggest using the Revert Import option to undo any page imports.
However, we are more than happy to assist you with the removal of this code and I'd appreciate it if you could reach out to me via email so that we can assist you further.
