Shogun ‑ Landing Page Builder

Have used Shogun on a couple sites now... product is solid and support is truly... supportive. Granular level of code-free control.

We use the app for 2 stores, and it's essentially increased our design cycle velocity so that we can make edits and updates as often as we like, without the need for a designer or developer. That is a big win.

Shogun does need to mature a bit, in that it starts to become very complex quickly if you want to maintain design consistency, and while they have "Snippets" to help you repeat certain design elements, this does not scale well and it doesn't prevent the need for actually manually deploying changes across every page of your site. This is a problem that only gets bigger, but even so the tool is worth the cost and serves a very useful purpose for us.

Amazing app, makes editing your website so much easier, and makes Shopify so much more customisable, the only thing that put me off using Shopify to host my website in the first place. Highly recommend!

So far it is easy as pie to figure out and creates beautiful pages. Finally great looking page builder.

This review is so long over due because this app has been such a game changer for me that I should have been screaming from the roof tops the minute I discovered it.

Shogun made it possible for this pre-millennial tech dinosaur to confidently build a website. Shopify on its own has many limitations but with the addition of the Shogun app creating a layout is a piece of cake. Now I can focus on content and driving traffic instead of throwing my computer against the wall in frustration.

Also, it should be noted that Shogun has the best customer service that I have ever encountered. Nick was available and so patient when I did run into hiccups. I would email him, often 4 times a day, and he was right there to explain the functions of the app. Integrity is clearly high up on the company values list for Shogun. From an interpersonal stand point, we could all stand to learn a lesson from Nick.

I had an another app that served the same purpose. Actually the other app seemed to have a bit more functionality built in but was not stable enough for my needs. Response from Shogun is almost the same day and frankly the pages I set up has no real issues so far. That is the most important par for a business, stability. 5 stars.

Great app as you can customize your pages without all of the coding!
I even had an issue with displaying GIF's and they fixed it for me ASAP!

We were experiencing an issue on our on of our pages. Images were spanning beyond the width of the page. Reached out to Shogun support and they fixed it within 5 minutes! Awesome support! This was the only issue I have come across thus far.

I love how responsive and fast the customer service are. I have a question today about metadata and they responded within a matter of hours and the subsequent replies are even faster. Love it!
