TERRIBLE! No way to turn off reviews, so customers get a review request from a review app PLUS a review request from this app. Please let us turn off review requests!

Review management is a total nightmare, can't even censor insults or whatever, and you can't turn them off.

SHOP's app doesn't really work, and it's made by Shopify? The app states that I have zero products available, when originally SHOP accepted 100% of our products for a few weeks. All our products are still available and the management bulk editor shows all products selected, but clearly the app has lost a connection. SHOP doesn't offer support, at least I haven't found it within the app, regardless the channel doesn't offer much of a service or ability for their users to find anyone's stores. The only way we will ever get a sale via SHOP is because someone already knows our store name and has searched for us specifically by name, SHOP doesn't make a way for their users to discover anyone, including you! We do so much better with Google and other similar channels.

i was selling on shop then I got scammed but a thief with stolen credit card details which resulted in a chargeback and investigation shop then shut me down and said i didn't meet the requirements to sell on the shop app this is ridiculous to I have been shut out because of credit card scammers.

We can't use Shop, but it now prints on all our shipping labels. Another boutique claimed we stole their photo, even though it was a vendor provided photo. We aren't allowed to appeal, but got dinged with copyright infringement in a he said she said. Stop advertising your services to my customers, and then not allow me to participate in said services. Especially since you never even heard our side or looked at our proof we had rights to use it too.

They work against sellers by supporting the scammers !! , they have zero customer support, and their platform is ideal for getting ripped off by scammers.

There is no customisation when it comes to customers leaving reviews on the shop app. The email request can't be modified and you can't even see what the email looks like that Shop sends!. You also don't receive notification when a customer writes a review, they just automatically publish it. I use Judge.me where I customise my emails and make it more personal, this means though customers receive 2 requests. With this SHOP APP you cannot turn off the "Review Collection" button, it's stuck onto "ON" with no facility to toggle it off. I contacted Shopify help and even they can't do it. Too many bad issues with this app and very little opportunity to customise it for your own individual store. I'm going to delete it if I can't toggle off the reviews! Worse than useless and not fit for purpose re reviews.

This app lacks alot of features. You don't get notified when customers review their products and have no control over that. Your store can be disabled WAY too quickly with no control over that as well. My store had one product that promoted the entire store to be disabled with no way to fix it even though I was bringing in thousands of dollars. Really unhappy customer here.

In order to avail of features such as Shopping and Discovery in the app, we ask merchants to meet certain eligibility requirements. You will still be able to install and use the sales channel, and your customers can continue to track their orders, view recent orders and see the available contact information for your business.

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting that 404 result. Not sure why it is like that but I Hope they fix that glitch soon.

One of the representatives recommended a list of supplier to use for my store. I utilized the recommendation provided, then Shop removed the payment gateway for infringement of the supplier I used without warning and said that the decision is final. Very deceiving and caused major inconvenience to my business! They don’t even bother to take accountability on their end nor help e-commerce owners whatsoever! The way they do business is a joke!
