I’ve been using the Shop app and it’s been a great experience so far. It’s really easy to use, with a clean and intuitive interface that makes managing everything simple. Since I started using it, I’ve also noticed a boost in sales, which has been a huge plus. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward and effective tool for their business!
The AI Bot (Sidekick) is an amazingly power tool. I've had numerous complex issues not related to Shopify, yet the bot was able to guide me to successful completion of the tasks. If you are not using Sidekick in your store, you are under-utilizing your potential.
My store has received many sales via Shop and they all go through smoothly. I’ve never experienced any issues. I appreciate this extra channel to sell my products.
Has driven several new customers to my site steadily and reliably.
Love Shopify - hate Shop app (today, because we are on sale and Shop App decided to auto apply discount codes to customer orders and there is NO WHERE I CAN FIND TO TURN THIS OFF). If we want a customer to be able to use a discount code, we would give it to them. Auto applying internal 100% off codes is cooked. Please change background settings and give us an option to turn OFF auto-apply of discount codes.
Hating Shopify more and more every week. As a small business owner, it took WAY too long to set up, mostly bc built in visual design features aren't available -- even simple ones that competitor squarespace was offering freely years ago. Can't customize certain text or even link things further down the page without getting a web designer to spend hours on it.
THEN, I'm now dealing with hidden fees. The billing page says "Next bill in 5 days or when your $200 usd threshold is reached. You have $194 remaining." Which sounds to me like either I owe $200 or I don't... even though I've paid my monthly bill, EVERY MONTH. Currently chatting with a bot to TRY to get an answer, a waste of 30 mins -- but Shopify won't let you talk w an actual human on the phone, so you're at the mercy of chatbots. Overall, the apps are a huge pain to set up, each one does a thing, but not exactly how you need it to.. Don't recommend any of this. In fact, I don't recommend websites at all, or the internet, or supporting any tech company. I hope the billionaire owner of Shopify is reborn as a frog in their next life. I hope all those billions get him that, it's precisely what he deserves for wasting our time & money in the ways I just described.

This would be a 5 star rating but until they import the vendor name (brand name) from the product. This is a KEY missing bit of information that NEEDS to be included asap. Shopify support was empathetic and submitted a ticket to the Shop App devs, will update this *if* it is ever added...
Be careful....this app automatically publishes items from your online store to the SHOP APP even if SHOP is toggled off in publishing.
SHOP was connected to my online store but I rather ignored it until the last few days. After listening to the webinar on Thursday about running a SHOP campaign I decided to pay attention and spent the time needed to sort out some issues with my catalogue and Collection details on SHOP. It was a pleasant surprise to see the functionality and marketing to customers on the SHOP app.
Now I am looking forward to running my first campaign. It sounds more promising than Meta & Google ads.
I also plan to research the partner apps that can be added to enable reviews. This is something I have wanted but wasn't ready to spend the time and money to add reviews to my online store so a partner app on SHOP my be the easiest solution for me.
