We are linked to synclogic and pay monthly for that, one of the Wholesale companies we are linked to uploaded a product that was deemed as branded content and we have been penalized, the products are automatically uploaded to our site and can be uploaded at anytime even if we delete it, I feel that they should penalize the wholesaler on Synclogic but we got the short end of the stick.

Customers being allowed to make purchases when products are out of stock and Shopify support are not willing to take any responsibility for it. It's a shame because usually Shopify do these things well but clearly this is not the case here. They are trying to create a marketplace without taking any responsibility for things that don't work within it. I have removed all my products from it and deleted the sales channel. I would recommend that you do the same.

The Shop app doesn't sell items if they are out of stock. It would follow the availability set by your Online Store's inventory.

we started with the app everything was going ok at first. We even had a few sales. Suddenly, no more sale, no more anything. After a lot of efforts, we were told our shop is not qualify. I have no clue why we are not qualify suddenly. Please someone explain.

Unfortunately, through the app store, we are unable to view information regarding your shop not qualifying for the Shop app. I recommend reviewing our Shop Merchant Guidelines (https://shopify.link/LQpL) to ensure your shop complies with the merchant requirements and product restrictions. Be Warned! Shop App will let your customers file fraudulent chargebacks. A buyer made a purchase, they returned the item and I issued a refund, talked with buyer vie email and submitted proof of refund and email communication. Then they opened a chargeback and said they did not get a refund (complete lie). Shop channel will not honor or help a merchant and the buyer got issued a 2nd refund and I was charge with a chargeback fee. There is no way to contact the Shop app support. If anyone from Shop App reads this please contact me. This buyer is a scammer and has found a way to steal from honest merchants. Very disappointed in this Channel.
Hi, there. Thank you for leaving your review. For context, the ability to dispute a charge is an option offered by your customer's bank or credit card company. If a chargeback is opened by the cardholder's bank, the issuing bank investigates the complaint and decides on the result of the dispute as well. Shop wouldn't be able to prevent chargebacks, but I can definitely understand the impact they can have on your business. I did not install this app. I saw it listed and wondered what the heck is Shop!? Why is this here when I did not install it?!!!
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to review our sales channel. I understand you've some frustrations about the sales channel suddenly appearing in your admin.
As mentioned here - https://bit.ly/42RJl6k , if your store meets the eligibility requirements outlined in the Shop Merchant Guidelines, then your store and products will automatically be listed in the Shop app and the Shop sales channel will appear in your Shopify admin.
The reason for the addition of the sales channel is to give you the power to control how your store appears within the app, or to remove your store from the app if you don't wish to feature in it.
You should also have received an email notification of this change in the past week or two.

Shop is a great way to get your products out there to people. Great resources to connect with potential conversion
Super annoying that the Schedule Availability feature is not active on this Shopify developed app. All the other sales channels base availability on the inventory of the shop itself. But this app ignores the "Scheduled Availability" and ignores the stores inventory.
