I did not install this app. I saw it listed and wondered what the heck is Shop!? Why is this here when I did not install it?!!!
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to review our sales channel. I understand you've some frustrations about the sales channel suddenly appearing in your admin.
As mentioned here - https://bit.ly/42RJl6k , if your store meets the eligibility requirements outlined in the Shop Merchant Guidelines, then your store and products will automatically be listed in the Shop app and the Shop sales channel will appear in your Shopify admin.
The reason for the addition of the sales channel is to give you the power to control how your store appears within the app, or to remove your store from the app if you don't wish to feature in it.
You should also have received an email notification of this change in the past week or two.

SHOP's app doesn't really work, and it's made by Shopify? The app states that I have zero products available, when originally SHOP accepted 100% of our products for a few weeks. All our products are still available and the management bulk editor shows all products selected, but clearly the app has lost a connection. SHOP doesn't offer support, at least I haven't found it within the app, regardless the channel doesn't offer much of a service or ability for their users to find anyone's stores. The only way we will ever get a sale via SHOP is because someone already knows our store name and has searched for us specifically by name, SHOP doesn't make a way for their users to discover anyone, including you! We do so much better with Google and other similar channels.

Shop is a great way to get your products out there to people. Great resources to connect with potential conversion
We can't use Shop, but it now prints on all our shipping labels. Another boutique claimed we stole their photo, even though it was a vendor provided photo. We aren't allowed to appeal, but got dinged with copyright infringement in a he said she said. Stop advertising your services to my customers, and then not allow me to participate in said services. Especially since you never even heard our side or looked at our proof we had rights to use it too.

Your customers will continue to be able to take advantage of order tracking, viewing recent orders and seeing the available contact information for your business.

Super annoying that the Schedule Availability feature is not active on this Shopify developed app. All the other sales channels base availability on the inventory of the shop itself. But this app ignores the "Scheduled Availability" and ignores the stores inventory.

They work against sellers by supporting the scammers !! , they have zero customer support, and their platform is ideal for getting ripped off by scammers.

This app lacks alot of features. You don't get notified when customers review their products and have no control over that. Your store can be disabled WAY too quickly with no control over that as well. My store had one product that promoted the entire store to be disabled with no way to fix it even though I was bringing in thousands of dollars. Really unhappy customer here.

In order to avail of features such as Shopping and Discovery in the app, we ask merchants to meet certain eligibility requirements. You will still be able to install and use the sales channel, and your customers can continue to track their orders, view recent orders and see the available contact information for your business.

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting that 404 result. Not sure why it is like that but I Hope they fix that glitch soon.

One of the representatives recommended a list of supplier to use for my store. I utilized the recommendation provided, then Shop removed the payment gateway for infringement of the supplier I used without warning and said that the decision is final. Very deceiving and caused major inconvenience to my business! They don’t even bother to take accountability on their end nor help e-commerce owners whatsoever! The way they do business is a joke!
