Good marketing tool to expand reach beyond what just a Shopify store alone does. Only wish that there was more ability to customize and less limits on number of products, categories, etc.
I switched over from Etsy about a year ago to Shop and it was a smart move. However, because there are so many app options it can be overwhelming to know which to install especially when there are multiple apps that seem to do the same thing. I will say the integrated AI help assistant is FANTASTIC. Anytime I have any issue I get perfectly accurate help and good explainations. It might be a good idea to offer certain alternate versions where the basic necessary apps are set up for you based on your store type and need. There are simply too many options to sift through and for a small business it can be time consuming. That being said, I appreciate the constant new improvements and many free options that provide true enhancement and value including ways to streamline and automate workflows. I am very happy with the level of customer support available. I would only caution someone who isn't very tech savvy to hire a consultant or do a bit of research first. Otherwise, very pleased with the app.
I love how the shop app is easy for shoppers to use. My biggest problem is THE APP decides what products to promote and put first for campaigns. Currently it is spot lighting a product we don't even have stock of. I would like them to add the ability to put a short video for the shop updates section, right now it is only a post.
I like the ease of set up and the simple interface. The only problem I faced was creating a cover photo. The recommended size works very differently for app and desktop. In desktop it gets completely cutoff and looks really blurry. While uploading it doesn't give a preview of how it'll show up in the app either. A better preview and option to upload different images for desktop and app will be helpful.

Not all products can be listed. In house Delivery or shipping options needed.
Overall, I am very satisfied. One thing I'd like to see is better rates for Media Mail. They have gone up almost 100% in 4 years. You offer great discounted rates for other, larger, parcels, but nothing for Media Mail. I especially like the Reports you can get and the ease of adding a Discount. I wish there was a way to mass mail my customers without having to go through a third party which I have to pay for.
For older customers, such as people in their 80s, it does get a little confusing for them. As they did not grow up with this technology, they frequently call me to find out what 'Shop' is for. Or they click on it, and it completely derails them. Generally, I end up taking the order over the phone to put their mind at ease. Considering how the brain works or doesn't, the 80- and 90-year-old persons are to be congratulated that they even try! That's all I have to say about Shop at present. Thank you for this opportunity to share.
It's user friendly and I like that is shows other merchants in the shop across the board.
The app's functionality is very user-friendly. It displays well and responds quickly. I have not had any major issues while using this app.
