Shopify Bundles

This app calculated a product price that was HIGHER than all the combined component parts. It also didn't pull in a calculated cost per item, which will have impacts on my cost of goods sold reporting. The solution offered to these was to either manually calculate/update it myself or pay for an inventory manage system. Both are unacceptable solutions - the correct solution is that the app should work properly. I'm not sure how this was released with such basic errors. Given that Shopify is now a system of record for accounting/taxes, such errors are required to be fixed otherwise merchants will legally be offside and may not realize it.

This is really poor quality, even for a minimum viable product. For a product that's been in market for 6+ months? It's unacceptable. I'm not sure who at Shopify HQ is okay'ing the release of products, but this has to stop.

Time is finite. Wasted time has a cost and for merchants that means less marketing/less refinement/less content, which has a financial cost for both the merchant and Shopify.

Seriously, do better.

I needed a way to combine our designs that we print in house with inventory that we have in house, different designs on the same inventory but only one place to track inventory. Bundles did exactly that for us. Took me a couple tries to get the images correct but it was intuitive and I was able to accomplish something that CSR at Shopify said was not possible.

Worked perfectly at the start but there's no way to assign the stock to a particular location. For example, we have 2 locations with stock in one but not the other and Bundles assumes the product has no stock so it's out of stock on the website.

Is there any work around for this? Or should I go for a different bundles app?

My number 1 issue is shopifys limit on variants. Ill have to create multiple listings of the same product to list every possible bundle combination. I do wish there was a way to port over COGs, include a discount and compare at price, when setting up a bundle. However, the easiest solution to including a discount is downloading the listing csv , adjust the pricing there and reupload.

SO SAD! Shopify makes an app that doesn't work with it's own platform.
Does not work if you have POS installed,
Shows inventory Sold Out when it's not
Support doesn't know and keeps pasting same message.. to check eligibility page - that page suggest to contact support if need help.

Other apps for $6.99 a month and work just fine.

Subscriptions App, Bundle App & Collaborator App all made by Shopify and don't work on Shopify.

It's very easy to create bundles with this app and easy wins the day when you have as many products as we have. I wish it would automatically pull in each product's photo and/or description into the bundles product. That's make even easier to use.

Bundle feature works fine, I made my first one a few weeks ago, but I just wanted to add a few more wares to my new store before getting really into it. Shopify app is fukn cool as, very complex and intricate features, a lot better than eBay and Etsy which have both banned and cancelled my accounts, pleased to make an affiliation with you. This app is great in theory, but because it’s incompatible with Scripts it is useless for all merchants on Shopify Plus.

Would love an update so that we can actually use it on our main store (we have it installed on an expansion store currently).

We were super interested to try the bundles app, it works semi-fine but it needs a lot of improvement.

Issues:
- One of our customers bought a bundle, the items were added to the cart but were not discounted.
- We can not add a bundle to a customer's order from draft orders.
- Percentage discount

Suggestions: It would be nice to have a dynamic bundle: To have one of the bundled items manually selected from a collection
