It does what it says on the tin, its easy to use and change the templates. I have set up several automatic workflows as well as sending out newsletters.
I'm not always sure it picks up all of the purchases created by the emails though but that could be the customers journey. Either way I'm getting more sales using this app and its easy to use
As a new shop owner, I don't have time to sort out all the email marketing plans, etc. Flow and Shopify Email automations working together have made my life a lot easier. It takes a lot off my plate. By easily pulling in discounts, products, etc. I don't have to overthink reaching out to customers to get them to engage, etc. And it's working! I also appreciate all the insights and analysis. Plus, the heads up on things I might need to rethink in my email marketing approach. I've used the other big email marketing companies before, and you can truly go down a rabbit hole with them. Shopify emails are straight forward and to the point, which is what people want.
So far it's helped me do the most of what i needed to inform clients or subscribers about news, updates, store changes etc
It has left me unsatisfied concerning the segregation i need to do on clients who haven't subscribed and need to be informed as a group urgently about something on their order, since their emails are not included in any list, but this is also a matter of GPDR and other terms and regulations. I hope they find a way to help us contact people in groups.
Overall it's super smooth!
We found the app was easy to use. Although sending out a max can be sorted by email address server.
Love the fact that the input of photos is so easy, no need to resize and then input.
At times it doesn't want to react to an action, but giving it a bit of time, works.
Would like to see more control on font size.
It is one of the easiest app to use as opposed to others which we used.
Anyone can use the Email App. You don't have to be a tech genius to send a basic email from Shopify. The price/fee after 10k emails a month, is very reasonable.
In the last two months the performance of the editor has absolutely tanked. It makes it impossible to type your emails out in the editor anymore. I'm talking 5-10 seconds of delay for typing and what appears on the screen. Typing everything out in a separate program like google docs is also super annoying since shopify email doesn't support paste without formatting and trying to format text in shopify email is a joke. You can just enter a font size, your forced to use a slider and hope you can get the exact value you want. Absolutely sucked all the joy out of making emails. Also give me back the ability to format text (bold, italics, etc on buttons). The section limit is awfully low too.

It’s easy to use and you can copy each email to use the same template keeping consistency in your marketing.
This app is really great and already got us quite a lot of sales. Easy to use and good customization. Of course it lacks some features mostly in templates and integration (i.e. social media). But it is a free app. Well done!
EASY TO USE, WISH IT WAS A LITTLE EASIER TO SCHEDULE OUT EMAILS.
I have enjoyed the Shopify App it has giving ways to boost my online marketing. I am able to see where I get the most sales from, I like how it keeps track of your inventory.
