I am used to using Constant Contact where there is a lot more features for creating customized. However, I like having everything linked in one place to my store.

Its a wonderful app that is really convenient to use for all your marketing campaign. Highly recommended
Setting up all my emails flows etc, was pretty straight forward, except for 1 thing. It didn't send out ANY of my automated emails.
I reached out to support, and chatted for almost an hour, trying to sort it out. They said it looked like everything was set up correctly, but still didn't work. They said they needed more time to look at the problem. Which was fine.
Long story short another guy from support reached out but was no help. After sending support 3 more messages over a 5 day period, no one has even gotten back to me with any sort of an update! Not even to say, "hey we're still working on" Nothing!
I can't launch my website until this is sorted out and it's been a week now since I first flagged it with support.
Not happy. I understand it's free, but if you can't help me sort it out, just let me know so I can delete the app and move on and find one that works.
I normally don't leave bad reviews, but this is extremely frustrating!

After installing the app, I quickly realized how little customization it can do, so uninstalled and switched to Klaviyo. For example, the confirmation pages Shopify Email generates automatically includes your store name at the top. But all sites already have their logo/store name at the top of their site so it's redundant and just looks pedestrian. The fact that you or Shopify can't remove that is brutal.

I just used the app for the first time and it was super easy. I enjoyed how I could pull pieces of my page directly from my store. The only thing was that it pulled some information from my page that wasn't accurate, so I had to use a different product than I originally wanted to. Otherwise great app.

The Shopify Email app made my email marketing experience easy. The templates are very helpful and time-efficient. I would recommend this app to all Shopify users, especially beginners.
I really wanted this to be better than it is. This feels like a beta product at best as it's just not up to par with similar tools that are available on the market now (i.e. Mailchimp). Functionality that I've taken for granted (copying campaigns, posting to multiple social media sites) is simply missing. Audience selection is also poorly integrated into the overall product. Lastly, the actual campaign building tool is slow and a little janky to use. I'd wait this one out until Shopify figures out what works and what doesn't. If their "Ping/Chat/Inbox" chat debacle is any indication of their development process, then I'd wait it out for another year at least. Shopify can do better than this.
