This app seemed promising but right now it is too basic, too slow, and it lacks flexibility. Not recommended.

This app on the front in is very easy to create a nice customer email. But, on the back the analytics are not there -- delivered, opened, clicked is not what I would call analytics. Customer tracking of opens, not opens should be logged in the customer database so that you know who you should pay attention and who you should weed out. It doesn't even tell you which customer opened or clicked. Needs some work i.e. First Name fields should be available to insert to personalize.

Thank you for writing your review and for detailing your experience with Shopify Email thus far, and what improvements you'd like to see made. I can certainly appreciate that with email marketing campaigns, receiving data that pertains to the success of the campaign is key and that there is more that could be done here to make Shopify Email a better app from this stand point.

It was very easy to design a quick email. But there weren't many options to choose from so it felt very limiting in options.

Very good app but recently the mail stops sending at just 15%. The funny part is the money wwas charged already.

Shopify is easy to use and maintain. Very beginner friendly.
I would recommend to any new or current business owners.

I use this app to send emails to our customers, and most of them love it. Why I give 4, it's because I would be excellent if I could select to send to all customers outside my country.. now I can only choose between my country or all countries including my own.

I used it to send emails. It is very user friendly. I did look at a video about it, but that is because i wasn’t sure what to expect. Good Experience and I would recommend this app. 4 stars and not five? I sent about 31 emails and I have about 3 left before they start charging. Meh...

It's super easy to build out an email. I usually have an issue with what to feature, but Shopify helps with the built in stats. I'm still poking around in here to learn about all of the capabilities!

Excited to have an email service inside of Shopify. Lot of features needed to completely replace the MailChimps of the world, analytics are slow took overnight to see that emails were sent.

**August Update -- still waiting on better analytics, sorry sent, open and clicks is not close to being a true email package.

**UPDATE Analytics at least on my shop is broken sent out an email and 5 days later showing 2 opens and zero sent. Analytics doesn't tell you who opened or clicked just that someone did. Need to have a visual customer ranking as to who opens/clicks and who doesn't so that decisions can be made on is this a customer/potential customer or just somebody who signed up. Missing a bounce indicator in analytics.

Hopefully some automation's will happen in the future. You have an app people could get excited about. Programmers can work from home during COVID so no excuses for future roll-outs taking 6mos. Cheers, Indypicker.com
