I just installed the new App, and I have to say everything about it is extremely craptacular. Halfbaked isn't even a remarkedly close comparison. Raw and still mostly frozen is a better description. I can't believe anyone would consider this App ready for deployment. The type is microscopic. I can code but finding where to try and make changes is anything but obvious. Changes like this make me wish we hadn't gone with Shopify.

I was able to set up my previous templates here because I have some coding experience, but I think it would be difficult for those without any coding experience to do so. The help documentation only shows how to code some lines, and you cannot directly copy and paste over the old code (it won't format properly).
Even after I set up the templates the way I'd like and the previews showed the correct format, when I try to print multiple packing slips, whole sections of orders are just missing in the printout. It's impossible to use even if you get the templates set up correctly.
I will be continuing to use the legacy printer until either it expires or this app gets fixed.

If you are still running Lagecy do yourself a favor DO NOT GET THIS! Once Lagcey is removed find another option. I would leave a review but I think most other people have already pointed out how once again Shopify has taken something not broken and broke it.

Install and use is easy. What i am missing is the integration with adapt. No localisation and it does not use the store language.
For who is not able to code just do like i did. Create a page in your shop, change to the html view, paste the code of your slip, invoice whatever you want to modify and change to edit view.
Make you changes avoiding to cancel any field, change to the html view copy your code and paste it in your printer template. DONE

Countering many of the poor reviews here, this app has been a LONG time coming and sorely needed. Previously Shopify had no support for Invoices. If a customer asked for an invoice, there was no way to pull it up, other than installing third party app workaround. That was a huge gap in any b2b workflow and this finally fixes it.
Users have always had to know a little bit of HTML, CSS and Liquid to customize an invoice so I'm not understanding the complaints. There also appear to be unlimited templates that can be added so I dont understand some the reviews saying there are only 2. Yes, 2 pre-made, but you can duplicate and create as many as you need.
I get that templates have to be done again and that's a hassle, but the old app was a dead end and needed a complete rebuild which is what Shopify is delivering here.
My team and I are thrilled that this is finally available and I look forward to leveraging its capabilities into our workflows. No doubt Shopify can and will build on this new foundation.
Once customized it works well. I am disappointed that a new version is coming out. The version I am currently using is now being called the "Legacy" version. I was encouraged to install the new app. I did install it. All of the settings from the old app which I paid someone to customize do not carry over. Shopify must assume that all of their customers are efficient in back end programming. That is not the case. I tried to get help from the "chat" support feature. Epic fail which is typical. Not that the chat person was not trying. He was but since I am not savvy working the back end of software his recommendations are not good enough. I tried to follow his instructions but I can't complete the task. Shopify used to have a good phone support option that they eliminated. Very bad mistake on their part. I have requested a phone support option and they refuse to offer it. When it was available it worked amazing and we always were able to get our issues resolved. The reason is because the phone support person could log into my computer and show me exactly what to do. With the chat support it takes a very long time and simply does not work in most cases. Now I am on my own and unfortunately I am not a happy customer.
Like others have said; typical Shopify wasting time and resources to "update" an app that didn't need updating, only to make it worse.
Importing our template from the old app also didn't work, it was missing information and came in much smaller and difficult to read. Frustrating as someone who paid for my template in the old app, because I will now need to pay more money to get a new template. A complete waste of money when the old app works fine.

We have used the Shopify in-house app Order Printer to print custom pack slips for many years. This is a nearly identical replacement of the Order Printer (legacy) app but with some changes to the liquid variables. There are two help pages you will need: "Liquid variables and filters reference for Shopify Order Printer" and "Migrate from the Order Printer app to Shopify Order Printer".
Able to customize this new template with no issues. Able to add image (logo) on it.
Updated the code manually but not very complicated. Need to have a basic understanding of coding, including CSS and liquid template.
I give it 4-star because of not able to automatically migrate templates from the old version.
