Just what I needed it
Once customized it works well. I am disappointed that a new version is coming out. The version I am currently using is now being called the "Legacy" version. I was encouraged to install the new app. I did install it. All of the settings from the old app which I paid someone to customize do not carry over. Shopify must assume that all of their customers are efficient in back end programming. That is not the case. I tried to get help from the "chat" support feature. Epic fail which is typical. Not that the chat person was not trying. He was but since I am not savvy working the back end of software his recommendations are not good enough. I tried to follow his instructions but I can't complete the task. Shopify used to have a good phone support option that they eliminated. Very bad mistake on their part. I have requested a phone support option and they refuse to offer it. When it was available it worked amazing and we always were able to get our issues resolved. The reason is because the phone support person could log into my computer and show me exactly what to do. With the chat support it takes a very long time and simply does not work in most cases. Now I am on my own and unfortunately I am not a happy customer.
We have used the Shopify in-house app Order Printer to print custom pack slips for many years. This is a nearly identical replacement of the Order Printer (legacy) app but with some changes to the liquid variables. There are two help pages you will need: "Liquid variables and filters reference for Shopify Order Printer" and "Migrate from the Order Printer app to Shopify Order Printer".
5 stars for printing receipts. I downloaded the app and 10 seconds later I was printing a receipt for a customer. I downloaded the pdf and done. That was fast and super simple. I can't believe the stock shopify software doesn't have this option install in its basic software.

Mais un point très agaçant. Les cases à cocher pour la sélection des différentes pages créées (Facture et Bordereau d'expédition) ne sont pas mémorisées lors du prochain accès à l'application.
Par exemple, j'imprime généralement uniquement le bordereau de livraison et je suis obligé de décocher à chaque fois toutes les autres pages créées.
Il faudrait faire en sorte de mémoriser la sélection dans votre application.
Le problème a été résolu grace à l'aide Shopify par un point que je n'avais pas vu.
Finalement je suis totalement satisfait !
Ah... Ce serait une bonne chose d'arranger le petit souci du sous-total lorsqu'il y a des remises pour que ça correspondent à ce que nous avons en fait dans l'admin de la commande qui prend bien en charge les remises.
Un sous-total doit normalement être sans inclure les remises (sur la commande et la livraison). Ensuite, doivent être déduites les remises, et ensuite le total final.
Countering many of the poor reviews here, this app has been a LONG time coming and sorely needed. Previously Shopify had no support for Invoices. If a customer asked for an invoice, there was no way to pull it up, other than installing third party app workaround. That was a huge gap in any b2b workflow and this finally fixes it.
Users have always had to know a little bit of HTML, CSS and Liquid to customize an invoice so I'm not understanding the complaints. There also appear to be unlimited templates that can be added so I dont understand some the reviews saying there are only 2. Yes, 2 pre-made, but you can duplicate and create as many as you need.
I get that templates have to be done again and that's a hassle, but the old app was a dead end and needed a complete rebuild which is what Shopify is delivering here.
My team and I are thrilled that this is finally available and I look forward to leveraging its capabilities into our workflows. No doubt Shopify can and will build on this new foundation.
Easy and simple transition, with no issues, all templates came across successfully.
After reading some of the negative reviews from earlier days, we were a bit hesitant and delayed our migration until now.
It was all good for us, so business as usual.
All my templates imported fine from the old app. No issues printing either. Seems to load much faster - what's to complain about?
I was trepidatious about updating to this new version of the app, but it was super easy get up and running. The custom template that we worked so hard on to perfect years ago was simple to import, and came through perfectly. Thanks, team!
