Definitely a huge step backwards. Now we can't select and copy multiple documents/orders at a time in the preview page.

We used to rely on this every day, copying and pasting into a blank text editor to generate a packing list of multiple orders in a single page.

all old templates are gone!

If you have any custom templates in the legacy Order Printer app, then you'll need to migrate your templates to the Shopify Order Printer app.

In order to do so, you need to copy your template's code from the legacy app, and then paste the code into the new app. However, the new Shopify Order Printer app has a slightly different implementation than the legacy Order Printer app. This means that some of your existing templates might not work initially, and you might need to make some adjustments to your template's code. You can find more information here: https://shopify.link/18NL.

This is absurd! The old app changed to Legacy and we have to download a new app. The new app doesn't have an option to make it easy to customize. We're so overload of work and now have to find a way to customize the template or find one that works and to make it like the old template we used to have for our store. The previous one we have paid for and done so much work for it.... What's the point?
Please bring back the old one for us!

At least they are giving us time to migrate, but this new app does not support any of the customizations we have implemented in the legacy app. I cannot currently figure out how to add line item images to my invoices. Documentation is very sparse and there are not many templates that are provided in the app that you can customize.

I was able to set up my previous templates here because I have some coding experience, but I think it would be difficult for those without any coding experience to do so. The help documentation only shows how to code some lines, and you cannot directly copy and paste over the old code (it won't format properly).

Even after I set up the templates the way I'd like and the previews showed the correct format, when I try to print multiple packing slips, whole sections of orders are just missing in the printout. It's impossible to use even if you get the templates set up correctly.

I will be continuing to use the legacy printer until either it expires or this app gets fixed.

Why this app was created in the first place? Most of the liquid variables never works while those were working in the order legacy app. Worst move ever.

Like others have said; typical Shopify wasting time and resources to "update" an app that didn't need updating, only to make it worse.

Importing our template from the old app also didn't work, it was missing information and came in much smaller and difficult to read. Frustrating as someone who paid for my template in the old app, because I will now need to pay more money to get a new template. A complete waste of money when the old app works fine.

This app is horrible, the original worked much better.
Once again take something that works and trash it.
I am really starting to think the developers have never sold anything in there lives.
