ZERO STARS. This APP is showing some weird "Expected Delivery Date" for each order on our admin page. Three days from the time they place their order. We make customized items and even if we ship the same day (not possible) there is little chance customers will receive their order in 3 days. We can not find where to expunge this info. We have looked in every backend area, but to no avail. Very Frustrating!

While Legacy may not have been the excellent this is so much worse. To change anything, even take prices off, add shipping method or order date, requires a change to the code. This is not feasible for many small businesses. If you're going to update make sure it's easy for small businesses to customize. Don't make us pay for 3rd party apps for something we already have. Please make a way to edit without needing to know how to code.

The worst rollout of a product. Most basic backend Shopify items are GUI, except this. Why? The legacy version worked fine for years before Shopify broke it. The import to this new app was easy, but completely INCONSISTENT. (Which is the most frustrating part!!) So one imported file (the one we use least) looks great - like the legacy version, while the 3 others are useless, especially the packing slip, which only shows two boxes, a ship to and a ship from address. No other information shows, even though there is code. Not only is this new "automated" rollout useless, but now it is wasting my time and delaying the shipment of orders while we figure out how to fix something that SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN BROKEN in the first place!! Thanks for nothing!!

Absolutely awful app. No preparation made for customers for the switch. No easy transfer across. Seems to be an intentional need to use a 3rd party app or developer to make things work. Worst yet is they've started messing with the legacy app which is forcing people to jump to the new app before they've made the relevant preparations.
My whole operation came to a grinding halt this morning because of their changes. 15 staff being paid to do nothing while we await a developer to get to the office and make amendments so that we can print our specialised packing slips...

This app is horrible! No options to edit easily, no nice features at all. The current Printer App works perfectly why change? We pay Shopify enough money each month which should include options print orders and Tax invoices ect.
I tried copy and paste my template (Which I Paid good money for) it's not working at all on this new app!
Please just keep the Order Printer app we have always had! NOT HAPPY

Huge amount of problems after upgrade to this version, cannot print with this app (still using "legacy"...)

What a mess! Shopify constantly changes things for no reason, makes it complicated to adjust to a new app, doesn't provide the same features and usually results into having to pay more!

Very disappointing "update". The nature of our production workflow depends on an ever changing and highly customizable order printer template - And while the legacy app is by no means perfect, I was always able to achieve whatever customization I had set out to accomplish - So when I saw the message that Shopify was sunsetting the old order printer app and migrating to this new one, I had high hopes that they would improve upon the already solid foundation that was the legacy app. I expected, at minimum, quality of life improvements, and was hopeful for some new features.
Instead what I got was an app that is objectively worse in every regard. I say this with no exaggeration or hyperbole: I have yet to find a single thing the new app does better than the legacy app - And worse, there are many cases where the new app does not support some functionality that the legacy app had for years. This is simply unacceptable when my company and many others not only rely on these functions, but have been using them without issue for many years.
Just to name a few:
1. Page breaks - The new app does not seem to support any method of forcing a page break
2. Custom scripts - The legacy app was capable of importing JavaScript libraries and running custom JS functions to perform actions within the template. The new app blocks user scripts and this is no longer possible
3. Float styling - New app does not support styling such as “float: right;”
I am not asking for more. I do not need the new app to do anything better than the old - But at bare minimum it needs to support the things that we have all become accustomed to through years of using the old app. And to be clear: I do not mind the liquid object name changes - As an intermediate/ advanced user, it is easy to modify existing variable names to get them to function in the new app and I understand changes like these are sometimes necessary despite the temporary frustration it might cause merchants.

I WAS OVERLY OPTIMISTIC. Yes it migrated but it DID NOT TRANSFER ANY OF THE "CUSTOM WORK" I HAD. Boy did I fall for their "just click through".
The migration forms look NOTHING like my existing form. Working with Support to see if they can fix it. Extremely disappointed

If you de-select the "packing slip" option, it says unable to find order on shopify POS. I wish shopify would stop changing things that no-one has asked for and work on the multiple other issues in POS.
